Their are 4 pins in my tie.I stand firm on my convictions. No pins should have been my tie. No business will accept nor clean a damaged good without alerting it's customer.I was not informed about the condition of the tie before nor after service.I have been a loyal customer for more than 15yrs.Harbour Cleaners is again being dishonest about it's practices. If they do not have a policy in place for damage.[redacted] should be informed.
After speaking with [redacted] he says that it is not up to him what condictions a tie comes in, if the customer brings it in to be cleaned he will clean it. The second pin was used for security to make sure the seam in the back did not open anymore than it was.

Review: On 3/17/14 My handmade silk tie was damaged in the cleaning process. It was returned to me with safety pins holding it together.Harbour Cleaners refused to be responsible for the damage trying to convince me that the tie was already damaged when it was not.On 3/18/14 I followed up with a phone call to the [redacted]) who stated that the pins were in to hold the tie together for cleaning. When I questioned him as to why they proceeded to clean if it was already damaged he promptly hung up the phone on me.I have been living in the area and using Harbour Cleaners for at least 15 years.I am highly disappointed with the way I was treated and would not recommend Harbour Cleaners to anyone
