Sorry for the delay.  We do not agree with the complainants request since we never agreed to pay the balance on his prior lease from a competitor.  As we have explained many times, the competitors comments about the previous lease mislead him but we at no time said we would pay any monies...

Humble Hyundai does not take responsibility for what Mr. [redacted] accepted as fact from [redacted].  However, we have asked [redacted] for consideration in this matter.  As of today they have not responded.  Humble Hyundai is willing to cover 50% of the bill on his [redacted] lease ($1,450.00).

[redacted] was involved with this issue after we could not duplicate the concern.  Mr. [redacted] contacted Hyundai directly and I understand filed a Revdex.com case against Hyundai Motor. After we were made aware of a complaint with the Revdex.com Humble Hyundai contacted the customer and...

explained that we needed him to spend time with the technician to demonstrate and reveal the issue. Appointment was set at one of our other locations so that our Fixed Operations Director could get involved directly with Mr. [redacted], Shop Foreman, and [redacted]. A fix was executed and at this point the system appears to working to Mr. [redacted]’s satisfaction.

As to your concerns, in the order you listed:  The “XLT” emblem was intact while the truck
was on our lot.  The doors have to be
shut with a lot of force because it had brand new rubber seals installed after
the complete...

restoration repaint.  The hood was
opened many times while on our lot.  Although
we did not notice any, some fluid leaks on forty year old mechanicals are not
uncommon.  As we stated, the A/C parts
were not installed; the viability of the parts was unknown.  No issue with hoses or belts noticed.  The lights worked when inspected in April of
2014 and while on our lot.  The numeral “5”
on the Texas state inspection sticker means it is good through 2015, not 2005. No
issue with the driver’s side window noticed while on our lot.
All used vehicles are sold by Texas dealers as is with no
guarantees or warrantees, expressed or implied. 
The Texas “Buyers Guide” that you signed states verbatim:  “You will pay all costs for any repairs.  The dealer assumes no responsibility for any
repairs regardless of any oral statements about the vehicle.”.  I am sorry that the truck does not live up to
your expectations, but this forty year old [redacted] has to be one of the nicest in the country.

There was a misunderstanding in regards to the spare tire request.  Once Management was made aware of the confusion, Humble Hyundai took care of the issue and resolved it to satisfy our customer.  The customer's daughter got involved and helped explain everything.  I have been...

The pictures speak for themselves as to how nice this truck
is.  This has to be one of the nicest [redacted] trucks in existence.  A
pre-inspection should have been performed if you were expecting a no issue
truck.  Humble Hyundai did not advertise
it as having all the A/C parts nor did we advertise them as guaranteed functional.  I’m sorry that you are not happy with the
truck.

the tow bill was made correctly to [redacted]. Hyundai dealers
perform the repairs as directed by [redacted], but the dealerships do not administer refunds
for [redacted]. Reimbursement for an out of
pocket towing expense...

related to a factory recall is between [redacted] and the owner. In an effort to help, Humble Hyundai has followed-up
on your behalf and has received confirmation from [redacted] that you submitted a
request on 1/15/16 for reimbursement of the towing expense.  Unfortunately the time-line for [redacted] to
research and process the refund is longer than you would like.  Since this reimbursement is from [redacted] and goes to the customer directly, the complaint should be
directed at [redacted].  Complaints can be
expressed to [redacted]
               Please re-file your complaint against
[redacted] and Humble Hyundai will continue to follow-up with [redacted]
and push them to process your request faster.

  We decided to buy this truck from your company because of your Revdex.com rating... Your dealership does not live up to it's advertisement that's the whole problem with this issue!!!  I understand what 40-year-old trucks are about, but leaking like this is not Frame off Restoration quality as you have Advertised...  About your statement regarding the doors and new seals, the doors do not close correctly because of alignment, left side closes but the right side does not close correctly...  Besides that, all new vehicles have new seals and doors close correctly.... I know this is not a new vehicle but it's supposed to be a frame off restoration!!!   On you're advertisement with the AC it states the vents and factory AC controls are in place and under the hood components come with the truck but are not installed!!!   The components that came with the truck, condenser and coolers are all damage beyond use, plus the mounting brackets are not there to mount the components to the Engine!!!   I have asked about oil leaks any dents and I was told it's very clean no issue with the truck, there is a dent on the passenger door a rust spot on the roof and in bed. Also we received an invoice but have not received a paid in full receipt or the title to date...  I have attached one of two of you're advertisements the only difference between the two is the price, [redacted]
