I refuse to get into a he said she said with Mrs [redacted] The fact of the matter is even without mileage Mrs [redacted] would not have come out in the end with a check payable to her I might also add she never signed the rental agreement; had she I would of provided a copy to you I do dispute some of the statements she is making but that is irrelevant anyway I stand by the first response made to her complaint She called us the day she was closing on her property Whoever helped with her Buy-Sell Agreement should have addressed the tank as rental and what to do with the contents I might add she need not concern herself with our property as this matter has been addressed Sincerely, [redacted]

This is in response to our complaint against Hardin PropaneFirst andforemost, I never demanded that Hardin Propane come out and pump our tankimmediately or promptly, but at their own convenienceHowever, the firsttime I called Hardin Propane I talked with Mrs*** about the sellingof our home and was questioning her what to do with the tank as it was arental , I also asked at this time if the tank could be pumpedFirst,Mrs*** informed me that we had not made them any money andtherefore they could not take the time nor the manpower to come out to ourhouse to pump the tank? She advised me to get in touch with our new buyersto see if they wished to continue to rent tank and buy what was left ofthe propane in the tank, which was at 50%I explained that Govenor ***Rauner of Illinois had bought our home and land and I was not able tocontact him directly, but would contact our lawyer and in turn our firmwould contact Govenor *** firm At no time did I ask Hardin Propaneto make a special trip to our home to pump the tank, it could have beendone when other deliveries were being made in the areaWe waited to get areturn reply from Govenor *** firm, but no reply came.It was a few weeks later I called Hardin Propane to explain that we norour lawyer had heard from Govenor ***s lawyers or his assistant ***as to what to do with the tankThis time when I called I talked with Mr.***He said the same as his wife, that we did not make them enoughmoney, so he did not feel they could pump the tank and return what wasowed to usAgain, at no time during our conversation did I ask him tomake a special trip to our home to pump the tankAgain, he could havedone it when he was making deliveries in the area.Another issue I would like to address is the tankWe signed an agreementto rent the tank, whereas we had never heard from the Govenor or hislawyers or farm managers, we had no idea what to do with a tank that didnot belong to usWe closed on the house in *** *** on October 5,2015.The tank continued to sit thereLast I knew, no one had removed the tank.We contacted Hardin Propane that we were movingThey never came to getthe tankSo our rental on this tank should have ended when we closed onour house.Thank You,*** ***

To Whom It May Concern: I do not remember the exact day Ms*** *** called Hardin Propane LLC but I do remember she was concerned about propane left in her tank. She was going to the local Title Company and signing closing documents as she had sold the property on which her
rented propane tank sat. She asked me what she should do and I recommended she talk to the purchaser about reimbursing her. Later she called and informed me neither the purchaser nor his assistant were returning phone calls. She was stressed over this. I am sorry she did not address this before an agreement was made with purchaser. This was in my opinion where the real problem lies. We did not hear from her for awhile and then she called asking us to pump out the tank and make a payment to her. Hardin Propane LLC has been in business since 2010. It is a Partnership which is managed by one partner who is *** Oil Co. . We have been in business since 1958. We are professional and appreciate our customers as we realize we would not be here without them. When Ms*** called demanding we pump out the tank my husband who is president of the company was explaining he would not do this. She purchased the propane on August 1, for per gallon. It is our policy to buy back product at the current laid in price to our facility. He was trying to tell her it would not be advantageous to her. We would charge mileage and labor and she would likely owe us therefore we would not do it. Her place is almost miles south of Hardin and it would have probably taken about hours to do this service.
