Thomas M*** took this man a check refund of $today 11/27/personally his self.?

I'm using his statement, " I specifically told them that my a/c unit is working but not throwing cool air so they knew I don't need a new a/c system." Free estimates is only to replace equipment not to fixThis is a standard through all HVAC company'sWe do not diagnose problems for freeThat service is considered a service call

We were never called for a free quoteWe were the first company there, and the dispatch was created from her initial phone call "unit doesn't work"We sent a service technician and he diagnosed the unit was completely out of freonHe then quoted her for a price of a new one, to fix existing, and
to run new gas lineWe charge for a diagnostic of a broken unitIf the customer would have called for a estimate only then the service would of been freeThe other companies most likely didn't charge because she called them after us asking for a estimate since she realized fixing her system probably was the best move after having us diagnose what was wrong

This complaint truly bothers meI understand the technician making a mistake on the breaker tripping and going straight for the compressorThat normally is the problem out times, and I would of gave a full refund for this call plus a free trip in the futureWhat bothers me is why this
wasn't addressed to my service manager Thomas M***You haven't received a call back because I'm not always in the office and I pay people to handle this type of issue for meSo these are internal mistakes that should of never affected you the customerThis customer will be receiving a full refund check by USPS in the mail, and will have a credit in our system for their next call to be free of charge if they choose to use us againThey have used us previously and was provided good service and would like to? continue to show them we provide good serviceThey were unfortunately a product of employee not looking into their problem the way it should of been addressed.?

To whom it may concern:I just recieved a letter from you guys saying I never folloewed up with the dispute but the reaseon is because I never recieved anything from you giys untill I got this letter.I still would like to file a complaint against Dor MarThey are absolutly lying when they said they were the first company calledHow would they know that anyways.Their secretary told me two times on the phone I wouldnt be charged and they did anywaysThey are frauds and I still want to file a complaint.Please let me know what to do next.Thanks

Thomas is calling the lady now. If she provides a copy of the other companies work order and they were able to fix the system and what they did we will not charge the $99.99.

We will not give a refund due to a person having mid communication with a family memeber. Our records show that the home owner called he morning of for a service due to unit being broke. After reviewing this situation this wasn't handled according to Dor-Mar policy, and broke the employee handbook by-laws. This customer will receive a full refund of $140.00. Also will have a credit in our system for next service to be free of charge. All the customer has to do is call, and ask for...

service and its free of charge due to the inconvenience. The employee has been reprimanded. On the behave of Dor-Mar I apologize for this employees attitude and service, and this will not happen again. Refund Check number #1529 $ 140.00

But, since they are now offering a refund ( this was not offered before this complaint) of the original service $150.00-I will accept it.

Please keep this on record that I paid Dor Mar because they reported me to a credit agancy . I paid it so I wouldnt get bad credit even though I didnt want to because they should'nt have charged me. my complaint number is [redacted] Thank You

I've responded to this man already. There is no such term "free estimates on service diagnostics" There is only free estimates on a $ to replace his system with new. There is no company out there that provides estimates to figure out what is wrong with a system. In all fields of contract work that...

is considered a "SERVICE CALL" , OR DIAGNOSTIC CHARGE. You can not take your car to a repair shop and they tell you why the car doesn't work for free. We are not different. If the customer would have handled this politely we would of discounted the service charge to something cheaper.

I CALLED DOR-MAR OFFICE AND ASKED FOR A WRITING ABOUT , THEY REFUSED TO GIVE ME ANYTHING IN WRITING. I WAITED FOR A WEEK WITH NO RESPONSE SO I DID CALL AND THE PERSON-THAT ANSWERED THE PHONE TOLD ME TO FILE A DISPUTE SO THAT IS WHAT I DID .AFTER THIS UNTRUTHFUL RESPONSE I CALLED MY BANK AND THEY INFORMED ME THERE WAS NO CHARGE BY MY BANK FOR A FILING A DISPUTE. SO I THINK THAT DOR-MAR IS SO HARD UP FOR MONEY THAT THEY NEED THE $11.67 TO .KEEP THEM OUT FROM GOING BANKRUPT. AND I FIXED THE HAVAC UNIT FOR A GRAND TOTAL OF $48.26 THAT IS A FAR CRY FROM $8200.00. AS FAR AS THE QUESTION ABOUT ME HAVING GUNS THE PERSON THAT ASKED ME THAT WAS JUSTIN THARP . I ALSO FILE A REPORT WITH THE MUSKINGUM COUNTY SHERIFF'S  DEPARTMENT.P.S. I WAS A GENERAL CONTRACTOR FOR 41 YEARS . I ALSO BELONGED TO THE Revdex.com. IN THAT TIME I NEVER ONCE ADVERTISED FOR BUSINESS . I WORKED ON A REFERAL BASIS ONLY . AND THE LAST 25 YEARS I WAS IN BUSINESS I WORKED ON A REFERAL BASIS FROM SEVERAL INSURANCE COS. AND 40 PLUS ADJUSTERS. I HAD 6 CREWS WORKING OF 4 MEN EACH AND I KEPT THEM BUSY PRETTY MUCH YEAR AROUND I PERSONALLY RUN MY BUSINESS FOR THE FULL 41 YEARS WITH NO. (ZERO COMPLAINTS)SINCERELY:[redacted]
