Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does not satisfy or resolve my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint # [redacted] Please add your rejection comments belowI am not going to re-address or dignify anymore of Mr***'s lies with a responsesThe FACT of the matter is that the final result of hiring this dishonest contractor, is a kitchen that I am not satisfied with, and a contract in my hand that states, "Quality Work Guaranteed" and the disappointment of realizing that [redacted] ***'s "Guarantee" is not worth the paper that it is written on Regards, [redacted] * [redacted]

I was told by the customer [redacted] prior to leaving his residence in front of my employee after [redacted] did the final walk around that he was satisfied with all work performed [redacted] asked me for the final bill along with the extra's bill for additional work that Mr [redacted] asked for and agreed to pay for in front of my employeesI furnished Mr [redacted] with said bill and parted ways thinking because Mr [redacted] already said that he was satisfied his residenceAfter wks or so Mr [redacted] after I had sent him several texts asking for the final payment got back to me via text and stated than he wasn't satified with some areasThe areas that he was wanted fixed were not part of the contract and I had out of the goodness of my heart fixed them several times for freeAfter several texts back and forth between Mr [redacted] and myself he said he was hiring another contractor to fix the problems, I ask Mr [redacted] if he would like me to come back and fix these areas and Mr [redacted] refused my servicesI feel that I went above and beyond the scope of work that was contracted for and have documentation into the $1000's stating just thatMr [redacted] not only did not allow me to correct what he thinks are problems but Mr [redacted] is still with holding approx $3000+ of funds that are owed to meI feel since he is refusing to pay me my final payment that he can use those monies to hire whom ever he wishes to correct the so called problemsPlease free to call me and i'll gladly explain the situationIt saddens me to be told that a customer is all set and everything looks amazing only to hear that he is not several wks later after I await final payment of monies owed, to get a complaint by that customerI pride my self in doing things right, if there are problems or concerns I address them [like I did for Mr [redacted] several times with a smile] and I complete my jobMy apologies to this customer if he feels that there are areas that need be addressed but since he is holding back paying me the final payment, there are more than enough funds to get the areas repaired

I wanted to close the complaint but couldn't figure out how to do it from your website. Manfrotto finally got their warranty site fixed and so I was able to register for a warranty on my product (although I still have to figure out a way to get through to customer service haha)
But anyhow, it seems my issue has been resolved

The work done was done above and beyond the scope of work that was contractedThe area of work that the customer is talking about was fixed and repaired at no charge to this customer by me as a gift to this customerAfter this customer stated that he didnt like the repair I again tried to fix this
area additional times and still it was not to this customers likingAgain let me state that this repair wasn't even in the contractThe customer had walked the project after it was completed and stated that everything was fine and looked greatI have employees that were there when he said this It wasn't till 2-weeks later when I hadn't heard from him that when I asked for the check in the amount of approx $for the balance of the contract plus his extra charges that he told me he wasnt happyWhen I try'd to explain to him that the area in question was a gift he didn't care and said h still wasn't happyI asked if he would like me to come over to try to fix it the customer stated no he's getting some else to do it and that He wasn't paying me my final paymentSo I told him thats fine why don't you use the $to fix the problemI apologized that he wasn't completely satisfied but I did try to recify the situation but he had already made his mind up that he wasn't paying me and that he was hiring someone else to fix the area in question

Dear [redacted],Thank you for letting us know about your recent experience with DTV Installations. As you mentioned project was done in 2014. We took complete care of everything for you  - from scheduling an appointment, camera fixes, updates to working with you. A service call was done in regards to...

our availability of current service.  We apologize if our service did not meet your expectations, and appreciate you taking time to share your concerns. We are sorry for such destabilizing encounters you have been faced with. You are our valued customer. For any other question or request for assistance, please call us.

I was told by the customer [redacted] prior to leaving his residence in front of my employee after [redacted]  did the final walk around that he was satisfied with all work performed. [redacted] asked me for the final bill along with the extra's bill for additional work that Mr [redacted] asked for and agreed to pay for in front of my employees. I furnished Mr [redacted] with said bill and parted ways thinking because Mr [redacted] already said that he was satisfied his residence. After 2 wks or so Mr [redacted] after I had sent him several texts asking for the final payment got back to me via text and stated than he wasn't satified with some areas. The areas that he was wanted fixed were not part of the contract and I had out of the goodness of my heart fixed them several times for free. After several texts back and forth between Mr [redacted] and myself he said he was hiring another contractor to fix the problems, I ask Mr [redacted] if he would like me to come back and fix these areas and Mr [redacted] refused my services. I feel that I went above and beyond the scope of work that was contracted for and have documentation into the $1000's stating just that. Mr [redacted] not only did not allow me to correct what he thinks are problems but Mr [redacted] is still with holding approx $3000+ of funds that are owed to me. I feel since he is refusing to pay me my final payment that he can use those monies to hire whom ever he wishes to correct the so called problems. Please free to call me and i'll gladly explain the situation. It saddens me to be told that a customer is all set and everything looks amazing only to hear that he is not several wks later after I await final payment of monies owed,  to get a complaint by that customer. I pride my self in doing things right, if there are problems or concerns I address them [like I did for Mr [redacted] several times with a smile] and I complete my job. My apologies to this customer if he feels that there are areas that need be addressed but since he is holding back paying me the final payment, there are more than enough funds to get the areas repaired.

Please add your rejection comments below. [redacted] from D&D is not being truthful with his response.  There are many areas on the ceilings and walls that are still very rough and I do not understand what he means by "a gift". All the areas that I am not satisfied with were paid for by me and it is more than one or two areas.  I also have cracks in my walls and ceiling that have developed recently that he refuses to repair.  I never told him that I was satisfied with the final results and I never signed any form of job completion as this job was not done in a 'substantial workmanlike manner' as stated in the contract.
Regards,
[redacted]
