[redacted] In mid August 2015, I had come info the Scarborough store during their sale in order to purchase engineered hardwood for my condoI informed the sales rep that I would looking for engineered hardwood that could be installed in a condo which requires no glueI was assured the product I chose would not require glue and could be installed in a condo with concrete floors as long as under lay was purchased I requested my product to be deliveredOnce I received the product my contractor arrived the next day informing me the product I purchased required glue and could not be installedThe product I ordered should have been uniclic which requires no glue as oppose to what I received which was tongue and groove I had contacted hardwood giant and was informed to contact the Brampton locationI had left work early and headed to the Brampton locationThere I informed the product I ordered was uniclicI was also provided with the product information, which included a sample of the colour and type of hardwood I chose on a piece of cardboard and on the back it provided information on the specs of the product which reported it was uniclicThe Brampton location stated my contractor must not be experienced and we should speak with him Later that evening with my contractor I looked at the product and it was NOT uniclic but tongue and grooveThe next day I went back to the Scarborough location where they informed me that I could do an exchange and to pick my productI picked another type of engineered hardwood with uniclic and was informed by the sales rep Mukbool that there would no change in cost and I would only need to pay for delivery again or do pick upI chose pick up as my floors where going be installed in the next daysI was told the pick up would be at the Brampton location and I would need to contact them prior to pick up The next day I contacted the Brampton location to inform them I was to pick up the productAt this time I was told I would need to pay extra for the new product After hours on the phone with several sales reps (Mukbool, Jamal and Shaikh) I was told that I would be required to pay extra for the changeI was also told there was no manager to speak with and the sales rep, Jamal provided no sympathy as he hung up the phone on me as I was "continually talking about my problems and he did not have time" I had then gone into the Scarborough store spent another hours in there and after creating a huge fuss in the store they were willing to drop the price of the new product I needed to purchase after speaking with a manager they now have I ended paying so much more then expected for my engineered hardwood and this does no include the money I lost from taking time off work, hiring a contractor for a day, renting out trucks and gas to travel across the city Overall, I would avoid this place the information they provide you is not correct and do not trust their displays because you will most likely get the wrong product The whole staff has no sense of customer serviceI would never recommend this place! Also please do you research on this company as I am not the only one with this type of experience at Hardwood Giant

I bought my hardwood from hardwood giant . The staff was amazing and very helpful.. There prices were the best we have seen anywhere and had a wide selection to choose from. We dealt with Mehbool and Kamran both were very helpful.. They delivered all the hardwood on delivery day. We ended up buying a lot of boxes extra and we have had no problem with returning them, they didn't even charge us the restocking fee. Overall experience was great

I had then gone into the Scarborough store spent another 2 hours in there and after creating a huge fuss in the store they were willing to drop the price of the new product I needed to purchase after speaking with a manager they now have.

I ended paying so much more then expected for my engineered hardwood and this does no include the money I lost from taking time off work, hiring a contractor for a day, renting out trucks and gas to travel across the city.

Overall, I would avoid this place the information they provide you is not correct and do not trust their displays because you will most likely get the wrong product.

The whole staff has no sense of customer service. I would never recommend this place! Also please do you research on this company as I am not the only one with this type of experience at Hardwood Giant.

Was over all pleased with my service, if I were to recommend a sales person at the Scarborough location shaki was very helpful as well gave us an extra delivery discount. MacBool tried to charge us more even tried to up the delivery after the order was paid for in full already, however the problem was resolved as I had my receipt to show the driver. Product looks nice installed easy and time will tell the rest I guess.
