Two independent home inspections have indicated a deficiency in the replacement of roof shingles for my home following a 2016 hail storm.
Roof valleys were not secured properly according to code and standards. Due to this, damage has begun to occur in the soffit and facia of the home. I sent Mr. Hardy copies of two independent buyers professional surveys which indicate the problems with the roof installation. After repeated attempts to contact Mr. Hardy, he has not returned my requests. I have until Monday to provide a buyer evidence that the roof issues will be corrected for the sale of the home.
Atttach shingle valleys per code and repair damage caused by improper installation of roof.
Terry H. just left. He did a excellent and prompt job. He cleaned up after himself and did our repair in a timely fashion. We will call on him in the future if necessary.
Have been trying to get in contact with Hardy roofing. Have left several messages, no call back. They did a nice job for us years ago, at that time it would have been 5 stars. Is the owner still alive? Is this business still operating? Did Terry H. fall off the face of the earth? Sure would like to know what's going on?
I have tried several time to call him with a complaint of and open permit on my roof since Jan.2018 Sold my home and can't close until finalized.
I have called Mr. Hardy several times along with my realtor trying to get a final inspection on my home. He never returns calls. I called Pinellas co for my own final inspection because of his lack of interest. His professional manner was also hard to deal with, always an attitude when trying to reach him. Why would you leave and permit open for 6 months? He never called back to see if a final inspection was completed. He was referred by my insurance company which I am very displeased with.
I would like to see a negative mark against this person for the lack of "following through with a job he was well paid for" Customer service is imporant in business and if I had to referr him to someone else that would be a NO
Good afternoon this is Gordon Hardy with Hardy Roofing and Construction Services Inc . I'm responding to the above case filed by *** the complainant has my cell number and she was instructed upon completion of her job that if she had any problems to call my cell number which she did not I was on vacation and that's why I didn't get her messages because she didn't follow through with her instruction by me I made a mistake and relied up on Pinellas County building officials to do their job and to do a final inspection which I did schedule for her project the day after completion that was where I made a mistake I accept the responsibility for that since I got the notification by a call from Heartland title which called my cell number in reference to getting a final done which was completed on July 13th 2018 there is their scheduled closing is tomorrow that is the original scheduled date for her closing so this did not disrupt or delay the close of the sale of her property as she has alleged that it has according to Sue with Heartland title I spoke to sue yesterday which will be the 17th of July I was in North Carolina I informed her that I had reached out to Pinellas County followed up with the inspection make sure it was done which they informed me again that it was completed on July 13th 2018 with a status of approved final so I'm responding this is all I can do I have left three voicemails and two text messages to *** in effect what I just said in this email to you guys and I have not got a response back from her so I would like for her to go back into your website and show this case resolved to her satisfaction because it is done thank you very much. The matter is cleared up thanks to ME calling Pinellas co. and have an inspector to come out before my closing. Mr. Hardy should have had this completed in February not July. If I was not selling my home this would still have been pending.
