Harker Research

Was told that a check was mailed on September 17, 2014, and still have yet to receive payment after I completed their music survey.I completed a music survey for Harker Research on July 22, 2014, and was told that I would be paid within 6 - 8 weeks after completion of the survey. As of September 29, 2014, I have yet to be paid for completion of the music survey; which would be $40. I contacted Harker Research in August to ensure they had my correct mailing address in which to send payment and they assured me that they did. On September 17, 2014, I received an email from [redacted] with the accounting department of Harker Research, advising me that my check was mailed. I still have yet to receive the check 12 days later and I know that it does not take 12 days to get a check in the mail. I have contacted Mr. [redacted] via email requesting an update on the status of my check and I also sent a general email to Harker Research asking for an update on my check; neither Mr. [redacted] nor Harker Research have responded to my emails requesting an update. I have given them every opportunity to respond to my emails with an update on the status of my check and being paid for the survey I completed and filing a complaint with the Revdex.com was my last resort. All I want is to be paid for the survey that I completed. I have done work for Harker Research before and this is not the first time that I was told a check was in the mail as the last time I did a survey, it took 45 days from the time they told me the check was mailed for me to receive it.
