The worst mistake I did was to ever purchase from hereOkay, pricing was fairly good and moving into an apartment on my own, for the first time, I considered saving some moneyAs a result I'm convinced it is worth paying a little extra for a more credited business that will actually handle you with proper customer service and careAfter purchasing a sofa from here I paid an extra dollars for years insuranceIm on my second year and have used it timesAll times I have been rescheduled, cancelled, and forgottenHowever, this time has been the worst by farI dealt with amanager named [redacted] who is completly a joke and should have embarrasment to even call herself a managerFor the past to monthsI have missed days of work, gotten several promises and even swears that a technician will come repair the seats on my recliner sofasI am a very patient woman, hard working and understanding that there are things sometimes out of our controlI have spoken to different associates and manager through this businesses group of staff, hoping to perhaps get someone that will care and are all a waste of time, energy and breathMsM [redacted] herself blames the technicians and the tech I spoke to blames the managersI once asked how or under what schedule do these techs work to management and that tech himself, the answer was basically wheneverThere is absolutely nothing professional about this companyI have dealth with people in the Bronx location and Harlem location and I dont know who is which is worseIt is a horrible representation of how the company handles thingsAs a future business owner I know well off not to ever run a business with the lack of care that these people doSympathy is all I can have for the owner of this business had a clue the way their employees are handling their customersAt this point I just have no clue what to do anymoreI have called over and over, have been promised over and over a technician to fix my furniture, and noone ever shows up I get no phone calls, nothingI have several accounts and many palces open and this is a nightmareIn all honesty

TAKE CARE OF IT & FIX IT FOR HERBUT AFTER WE FIXED IT SHE CALLED BACK & CLAIM THAT THE DAMAGE STILL THEIRMY TECHNICIAN BROUGHT ME A REPORT THAT THE DAMAGE WAS MADE BY HER & IT IS NOT A MANUFACTURE DEFECTUSUALLY THE STORE IS RESPONSIBLE YEAR AFTER DELIVERY FOR MANUFACTURE DEFECT ONLY, BUT THE *** IS STILL WILLING TO WORK WITH HER & HE WOULD LIKE TO KEEP HER A CUSTOMER IN OUR STORE & SHE WILL HAVE A 5% OFF ANY FUTURE PURCHASE SHE WILL MAKE IN THE STOREHARLEM FURNITURE *** & EMPLOYEES FIRST PRIORITY IS TO KEEP ALL OUR CUSTOMERS HAPPY & PLEASED, THANK YOU *** ***

Trying to work with me doesn't mean sending someone to my house to draw on my dresser with a magic markerIn stead of him looking at the dresser and seeing that something was wrong with the dresser and calling you so you can resolve the issue, he took it upon himself to (fix it) and did nothingI came back and forth to that store for three weeks I spoke to some lady over and over again for NothingWhat Harlem furniture should of did because I have a manufacturer warranty for one year was gave me a new dresser, but No they wanna play arts in crafts like a three year oldAn far as your 5% you could keep that because I will NEVER buy any thing from you againBut if you want me to be a happy customer in go away GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK! That would make me the happy customer that you want me to be

After purchasing a sofa from here I paid an extra 500 dollars for 5 years insurance. Im on my second year and have used it 3 times. All times I have been rescheduled, cancelled, and forgotten. However, this time has been the worst by far. I dealt with amanager named [redacted] who is completly a joke and should have embarrasment to even call herself a manager. For the past 3 to 4 months. I received damaged furniture. When I called they said they would send out a service technician. He came a week later and said he couldn't fix it would need to exchange. When they delivered the exchange it was also damaged and they said they could only do another exchange no refunds. The third exchange was less damaged but missing a part. Customer service said they could not just send the part, would have to do another exchange. I said no to the exchange because I had already wasted enough time waiting on exchanges and missing work because of it. They said they could give me $90.00 for the damaged furniture which I paid $2000.00 for but said it would void the warranty. I said no and went to the store to talk to the manager. He said to give him a week to get the part and he'd call me. After 2 weeks I called him and he said it would be about 5 to 6 weeks to get the part. He would call when it was in. Never heard from him and have left a few messages. I will never buy furniture from them again!

Review: I am customer of Harlem Furniture. I purchase a bedroom set on October *,2014 for 1,075.00. I was informed I have one years warrant. I received the bedroom set on October *,2014. When purchase the bedroom set they stated it would be an Ashley brand name and it was not the bedroom set was called a lifestyle. I was told once I called about not receive an Ashley brad name bedroom set that lifestyle was from the same company. I noticed a scratch on my dresser and I called and report it to the store. I spoke to assistance manger and he informed that someone would come out and look at the dresser but could not until October [redacted]. Someone did not show up me and my sister when back to the store and complained that no one show. Then when [redacted] came and my father showed them the dresser the person colored my dresser with a black Sharpe marker. I called and informed the [redacted] I am unhappy and I would like my money back or a new dresser.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund the sale person [redacted] lied about the brand name of bedroom set and they have been giving me a hard time about the getting a nw dresser.

Review: I purchused a sectional couch set from this company. on july [redacted] it was brought to my home wrapped in plastic. not in boxes. I immediatly spot stains and spots on it. 3 or 4 different places. that same night I fell asleep on the couch to wake up to multiple bites in my [redacted]. I spoke wit my daughter and niece who took pics of the bites.. I then went to the store and spoke to the sales person by the name of Ray who then told me he would let the manager know and I would get a call back. I didnt get a all Back at all that day. they was suppose to come and take the set out and it is now one and a half weeks its been in my home. to top it off the manager Almando hasnt call back or proceeded to take this bug infested product out of my home. when I let them know it was told to me by ray (the sales person) that the sectional in the store was the last set they had in that color it was clear I was sold that floor sample and not a new oneDesired Settlement: I need them to come and get this infested furniture and give my money back. they cleary cant be trusted replacing it with another one. im sure they will try giving another floor sample

Review: Reclining sofa is loose and has a gap in between the sofa February **, 2014, spoke to [redacted] Customer Service to notify of the problem she told me she would send someone the following day to repair stay waiting no calls and no one showed up to repair the sofa
