Dear [redacted] ***, we apologize for any inconvenience that confusion about our pricing has caused youWe would like to inform you that we looked into your complaint thoroughly, and these are our findings: As per our store policy, we are not able to substitute the sausage on sausage , egg, and cheese breakfast sandwich with bacon, because we make sausage patties in the house form ground turkey or ground pork meat that costs about $a pound, while our thick cut Applewood smoked bacon costs us $a poundWe will be happy to provide you or the Revdex.com with copies of our past original vendor purchase receipts if you wish to confirm this for yourselfTherefore, the morning shift manager did as required per our policy and added the additional price for the order of bacon to your egg and cheese sandwich instead of substituting it for sausage in a sausage, egg and cheese sandwichThis totaled to $for egg and cheese sandwich, +$for the bacon, or the total of $6.25, which comes out to $after adding the NYS sales taxWhile this might seem pricey to you, please note that we use only certified organic eggs and top quality thick cut Applewood smoked bacon in our sandwiches, which, again, we will be happy to corroborate with our original purchase receiptsAs you may see when shopping in a supermarket, the price of organic food differs from the price of choice ingredientsCopies of our original breakfast and lunch menu can be found on our website [redacted] You are, however, right about the fact that there is a discrepancy between the price to add bacon to lunch menu ($2.50), and to add the bacon to our breakfast menu ($2.00)(You can see both prices on our breakfast and our Delivery menu respectively)This is because the portion of bacon that we add to our lunch items is slightly bigger than the portion of the bacon we ad to our breakfast itemsThank you, however, for printing out that this may cause confusion with both staff and customersWe took note and will work on making the portion, and the price , the same on our upcoming menu version. We will also be happy to refund the price difference of 50c to you, and we will be sending the check to your home address during this weekAs per your comment about Marisol's attitude towards you, we would like to let you know that Marisol has been a part of Harlem Shake team for some years now and has been promoted thanks to her so far stellar customer serviceThat being said, we will discuss with Marisol the importance of not using Spanish as her language of choice when communicating with the cooks, even in the instance that there happens to be a shift where Spanish is both hers and cooks' first language, so that all of our customers may feel welcome and understand any detail of the conversationWe do appreciate your patronage and we would like you to know that majority of our owners/investors, AND 80% of customers who make our business thrive every day are NOT tourists but Harlem residents, and we take pride in hiring within and serving our community of HarlemOnce again, our sincere apologies for the confusion and any frustration this may have caused you

are our findings: As per our store policy, we are not able to substitute the sausage on sausage , egg, and cheese breakfast sandwich with bacon, because we make sausage patties in the house form ground turkey or ground pork meat that costs about $1.99 a pound, while our thick cut Applewood smoked bacon costs us $6.20 a pound. We will be happy to provide you or the Revdex.com with copies of our past original vendor purchase receipts if you wish to confirm this for yourself. Therefore, the morning shift manager did as required per our policy and added the additional price for the order of bacon to your egg and cheese sandwich instead of substituting it for sausage in a sausage, egg and cheese sandwich. This totaled to $3.75 for egg and cheese sandwich, +$2.50 for the bacon, or the total of $6.25, which comes out to $6.80 after adding the NYS sales tax. While this might seem pricey to you, please note that we use only certified organic eggs and top quality thick cut Applewood smoked bacon in our sandwiches, which, again, we will be happy to corroborate with our original purchase receipts. Review: Myself and some colleagues arrived at Harlem Shake on Thursday, June **, 2014 at 5:40 pm. When were arrived there were only two other customers there. I placed a $15 order for a bucket of beers. While we were sitting and talking we noticed a pretty large crowd of people show up to the location and the line to order food was long. We waited until 6:22 and decided to order food. We were told by the person behind the register that they were closed for a private party from 6 to 8. I asked why we were never informed that they were going to be closed when we ordered or beverages? Another person came over (who we later found out was the [redacted]) and stated that they did not know we were there. I informed her that the same person was at the counter when we ordered beverages. Another person from behind the counter also stated that there were only two other people there when we arrived, and it would have been appropriate and good business practice to have informed us when we got there. By this time we had spent about an hour of our time there thinking we were going to receive services. The "night shift [redacted]" decided that it was appropriate to argue with me as oppose to apologize for the misunderstanding which added to my frustration and made me extremely angry. This is no way to run a business. I really felt a simple apology would have sufficed. I understand things get busy and possibly they might not have been paying attention to what is going on, but her response was unacceptable. Not only am I a resident of Harlem, but I work for an organization that regularly looks for places to do fundraisers, celebrations, etc. We have 1200+ employees and I am really considering letting my colleagues and my subordinates to not patronize this business.Desired Settlement: Not only was my time wasted, but we had to find another location for to go to. A refund for my patronage would be appreciated, but at minimum an apology would be appreciated.
