Review: On approximately Aug. **, 2014, I discovered the items in my storage had been severely damaged due to a leak in the facility's ceiling. I immediately made management aware of the situation. The management instructed me to file an insurance claim and to leave the items in the unit until the adjustor came to confirm the damage. It has been over thirty (30) days no adjustor has some to examine the items that were damaged which has now caused more damaged due to the fact that the ceiling is still leaking over my unit which is causing my personal belongs to become emersed in water. On approximately Sept [redacted] I was informed that my claim had been submitted to an insurance agent, but on September [redacted] I was informed by the Insurance company that they have not received a claim on my unit and that this particular company does not necessarily have insurance they handle their insurance issues internally. Which now indicates to me that I have been paying $10.00 for nonexistent insurance. I have signed contracts that stipulate this company is to pay out a total sum of $3,000.00 upon final determination of water damage. I have provided this company with all of the documents and photographs that are needed to pay on my claim, but the facility refuses to honor my contract. I would like an immediate resolution to this business matter.Desired Settlement: Based on the conversation I had with the insurance agency yesterday and the amount of damage to my personal belongings, I would like insurance claim to be settled immediately or I will seek settlement within the superior court for all monies rendered to Harlem Storage over the past year for Insurance, plus my Insurance claim based on failure to honor the terms of a contractual agreement that was willingly entered into by both parties with the intent on both parties upholding the agreed upin terms.
