Harley Davidson Of New Orleans Reviews (3)

I took the basic riding class at Harley Davidson of New Orleans ($295) to refresh my skills, however, it was more like AVERSION therapy... I decided to take the Harley Davidson course thinking it would be as much fun as the state sponsored course.. One of the instructors was more like a drill Sargent. This guy made the class MERSIABLE. Now one would expect to be critiqued in order to improve one's abilities but, SCREAMING, PHYSIOLOGICAL ABUSE, MILITARY OR POLICE training is DEFINITALY NOT what I signed up for. Now giving that I've had a professional career as a money collector for 10, I'm fairly use to people screaming. I'm usually being paid to tolerate that kind of abuse. However, I'm paying them: Harley Davidson. This one instructor spoke to the whole class like we were DELINQUENTS in JUVIE HALL. I could understand OCD on the riding field, we want to improve our skills but off the field during the breaks and before class, needling, intimidating and acting OCD (obsessive compulsive) is more than I could tolerate. I'm paying THEM, to ABUSE ME: NO WAY....I finally had enough; I left. I took the state course 11 years ago, have have had an endorsement since but I sold my original bike a few years back. TO ADD INSULT TO INJURY... Harley Management dragged their feet on a refund... saying "I COULD REFUND A PORTION OF your MONEY if you returned" to complete the course. NO THANK YOU. This class is a exercise IN PATIENCE to not KICK this CRAZY GUY in the &$^*%...

YOU CAN paid 3 TIMES the PRICE (to be ABUSE at Harley) for the same course the STATE OFEERS a for $100 BUCK AND the STATE ENDORSED class there is NO need for a RIDING TEST, just past the written test and your GOLDEN (endorsed).

This one guy makes the whole EXPERRIENCE MISERABLE and Harley Management continues the AVERSION THEROPY by REFUSING a REFUND. GOOD JOB GUYS!

Review: Upon purchasing a Harley Davidson motorcycle, the finance person walked us through the paperwork leaving out the most important document - the Promissory note contract where our signatures were forged electronically. Upon noticing this, we called the Finance company (Harley Davidson) and alerted them to that fact. They said they would look into this and call us back. They claimed they filed a suspicious report about the dealership. We had requested to be able to return the bike so we could purchase one at another dealership since we have lost confidence and trust in the one where we purchased the bike. They were supposed to call us back within 2/3 business days but did not. When we checked back with them they told us since this was beyond the 30 days, they could not take the bike back nor could they do anything for us. We feel that since this contract was forged, it should be null and void and our money returned. We have the documents to support this claim. We would appreciate your assistance with this claim.Desired Settlement: We would like to be refunded so we may purchase the bike at another dealership. The bike is not being used and is in mint condition as when we received it.

I recently visited a branch of the New Orleans Harley-Davidson dealership located at [redacted] in the French Quarter in New Orleans. It is basically a t-shirt sales office, and has little else to offer but apparel. I am retired from the Harley-Davidson motor company having worked at the power train operations manufacturing plant. My fiancé and I were in New Orleans and we decided to stop into this shop. When we had finished shopping for ourselves we went to be checked out by the sales person at the desk by the name of Larry [redacted]. Because I am a honorably retired US Navy veteran of 21 years I instinctively asked if they had a military discount. Larry blasted me saying "We don't do military here". He then proceeded to check our 3 items out, but for over 15 minutes couldn't get the computer to process our checkout. The sales date was on 02/25/2016 and our invoice number is 391916. This was absolutely the worst service I have ever experienced at a Harley dealership. I would not recommend this dealership to anyone. Larry was not only rude but extremely disrespectful and made our visit there very unpleasant.
