Review: I PURCHASED A MOTORCYCLE BATTERY FROM THE PARTS DEPT 4 DAYS PRIOR TO THIS SECONDARY INCIDENT.I RETAINED MY RECEIPT FROM THE TRANSACTION ON THAT DATE.I had a certified motorcycle tech install the new battery and he determined that the battery they gave me was defective.I returned to ocean county Harley with receipt and bad battery and was told I did not purchase battery from there establishment.I then asked for manager and got a complete run around and had my motorcycle tech call into the parts dept to explain to them the problem.They still said that the battery did not come from there store.after 1 1/2 hr arguing,I had no recourse but to buy another battery from them and was able to get my motorcycle running.The parts manager named [redacted] basically called me a lair and was no help.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

Review: On 10/6/14 I received a letter of Payment in full from Harley Davidson Credit Corp. With that I took this letter to Harley Davidson of Ocean County on 10/13/14, in the contents of the letter it stated to return to the dealership for any refunds due(credit life/disability ins, GAP,etc) that I may be eligible for. The finance manager Jason faxed over any and all proof to start the refund process. With that stating it would take 8-10 weeks. On or about 12/29/14 my wife [redacted] called and spoke with Ron who stated someone would call back with info. No one ever did. So on or about 12/30-31 my wife [redacted] called and spoke with Jason who then forwarded the call to Vanessa in accounting.

She said " the refund was there, but it was not signed." My wife asked would it be faster to pick up refund check?" and Vanessa stated" it would not be signed until the 1/5/15 when someone was back from vacation". So we figured that it would get signed and mailed out, thus being over 14 weeks now. So on 1/10/15 my wife called back again, and spoke with Jason who stated "Vanessa is now out on maternity leave and he would be leaving someone else to contact us. We have spent substantial amounts of money in that store, but we feel like we have been given the run around over a refund that is due to us.Desired Settlement: We will be satisfied when our check is refunded to us, but will probable not be returning to their store in the future.
