Review: I dealt with [redacted] the finance manager. First off I paid cash. Over 30,000 grand for my 2013 street glide. I got the bike exactly how I wanted it. I got the prepaid service contract and extended warrant and tire and wheel coverage. What a joke all that is!! [redacted] is a[redacted] and I wouldn't [redacted] on him if he was on fire. First off I went through a divorce. [redacted] said I could sell my extended warranty and prepaid services back to Harley at anytime. HAH yeah right. I went and cashed my extended warranty in. Mind you this is a year and half after I bought my bike, UNDER the 2 year factory warranty. First off he says I don't get the full amount back because the extended 5 year starts when you buy the bike?!?! WTF are you serious?? I get a 2 year factory warranty and pay for an extra 5 years!?!? Do the math. Thats how they screw you. Also I ride my bike, I am not a little weekend warrior. I had almost 20,000 miles in a year and half. So the first 6 services are paid for in advance. It should save you around a $1,000. Well My bike got stolen and I went to cash out the remainder of my services. Which was 2 services. WELL good ole [redacted] who talked me into this garbage says that I get nothing. Well I did the math and I actually paid MORE per service than if you bought them as a package. AND they won't transfer the remaining 2 services to a new bike. What a bunch of garbage these guys are. ALSO I told [redacted] that I was going through a divorce and I was the only one to pick up the check for HALF of the money I spent on the extended warranty or he was to mail it to my brother address. Well he gave the check to my ex wife who went and changed the name on the front and cashed it. According to his fellow employees they are not to give the check to ANYONE but the person on the account. My Ex was NOT on the account. Then Wells Fargo they deal with won't honor check fraud. Thanks North Highlands Wells Fargo. So I got my bike stolen and not a damn thing for any of it. [redacted] is a liar and my Ex told me and others she went and got the check from Harley!!!! BUT [redacted] says he mailed it to my brothers SECURE LOCKED mail box and she must have stolen it...F[redacted] and F[redacted] Sacramento Harley. There you go. Spend OVER $30,000 and they will just treat you like crap. They went to every length to cover their [redacted] and its sad.Desired Settlement: I want a refund of the 5 year warranty in FULL. And the balance of the 2 remaining services I paid for.

It is disappointing to hear of Mr. [redacted]’s satisfaction with our numerous efforts to assist and help him through his troubles. Mr. [redacted] writes that he purchased an Extended Service Plan and Pre-Paid Maintenance Package on 6/12/2014, but the date of the purchase was actually on 12/11/2012. Mr. [redacted] is correct when he states that both contracts are cancellable at any time and he would be potentially eligible for a refund. The refund is based on a prorated amount from the length of time the contract has been active relative to its term and remaining balance, as stated in the contracts that Mr. [redacted] agreed to, understood and signed on the initial purchase date. An additional copy of these contracts was again supplied to Mr. [redacted], at his request, at the time of his cancellation in late May of 2014.

The appropriate amount based on the agreement documented in the contracts Mr.[redacted] agreed to was processed and a check was issued and sent to the address Mr. [redacted] had requested. This check was then cashed by a teller at a Wells Fargo branch days later. Mr. [redacted] claims to be the victim of check fraud and we helped him over a period of three days by providing copies of the check we issued, copies of the check when it was cashed at the branch and contacted a representative at Wells Fargo for him, since he was unwilling to visit the branch. The Wells Fargo branch explained to Mr. [redacted] that instances of check fraud require a police report to be filed for them to process the claim, but Mr. [redacted] was unwilling to complete the police report. Unfortunately because of Mr. [redacted]’s refusal to file a police report, we were unable to help him further.
