We are sorry Mr [redacted] is unable to drive his truck but we are not at fault and we are spending hours trying to resolve the issue. I talked to the insurance company on Friday and they also said it was not our fault. Our obligation is to call the insurance company to get valid cards, which we did. The... confusion is between the insurance company and DMV (which Dmv points blame on insurance company). The other part of the story is Mr [redacted] has been driving one of our loaner cars free of any charges since January. My first reaction to this letter was to get the car back now and let them settle the issue the insurance company created. My title clerk though thinks the recent letter we received from the insurance company make take care of the matter. To sum this up; we offer no settlement nor are we going to charge the client for the rental car.

Revdex.com:I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. There is no way that I would give my information as listed on there form that was forwarded from the bank regarding this matter. All the information on this form is inaccurate and pieced together from a conversations that we had when I went to co-sign for this loan. As for the accusation that I knew that I was taking out a loan is false. I was under the impression that I was co-signing for this loan. I did not discover the truth until I spoke with the bank regarding this transaction. I could not understand until they sent me the paperwork that was submitted to them. I have attached the document that was prepared by the dealership and not by me. The information on this form is pretty much all false.
1) I do not work at truck-lite and never have been employed at this facility. My partner has been employed there for over 30 years.
2) My annual income has never been 47,000 but with the pieced together information I can deduce that between my partners income and mine we would be around that income.
3) I do not own home outright. My partner owns the home that we currently reside at and the monthly mortgage has never been 500.00 as listed on the form.
I believe they used all the information that was provided to make sure that a loan would be obtained. I believe with my own correct information I would not have obtained a loan and they realized with my information I might have not been able to co-sign either. With the pieced together information I provided them by casual conversation they were able to guaranteed that a loan was obtained. I unknowingly accepted that I was co-signing for this loan without reading everything I had signed (trusting the info was done correctly and they were being honest). Even when I questioned the dealership about the information they supplied was that NY no longer has co-signer for loans. They outright mislead me even when I questioned this loan information that I obtained when speaking to the bank. As for contacting them how are they going to fix this error since I did not want a car loan. I was there to assist family in attempting to co-sign for a loan. [redacted] (nephews girlfriend) who I was there to help has the financial resources for the truck payments. As for the statement my obligation would be the same that is correct but I believe they figured nobody would question their ethics on how they obtained this loan.
