Not much concern to be found at Harman
This morning, at 3:01a and 3:02a, I received text notifications from Harman asking me to login into mysecurehealthdata dot com for messages. I logged in and found two downloadables titled "Letter from Your Provider". However, these files are corrupt and cannot be opened on a phone or a computer. I called Harman locally, who were oblivious and sent me to mysecurehealthdata's headquarters. Eventually I was transferred to billing, where I waited in a phone queue for ten minutes. In time, the IVR assured me that I was "first in line". When it was eventually my turn, I was plopped into voicemail. Yes, a system that queues customers and makes them wait for an OPPORTUNITY TO LEAVE VOICEMAIL. I've left a message and heard nothing back. At no point in this adventure has any associate expressed empathy or apologized for my inconvenience. Just incredible. I will be cancelling my appointment for next year.

Called business spoke with Sara C*** she stated that she needs the sons name and date of birth in order to look up anything information on the accountShe stated that if we could get that information it would help them so they can attempt to resolve the complaint

Review: Went for pre-scheduled eye exam. Arrived 5 minutes early. Was informed they were running behind ONLY when I inquired. Was told emergency walk-in patient. When patients left, it was obvious that there was no emergency. They just lied because they were behind. Was told would receive glasses in 1 week. Call at 1 week. Glasses in but not correct. They have to send them back and it would be closer to 2 weeks. Asked if could get a discount for poor service. Was told they would call me back that day with answer. Lied again. No call that day. Tried calling next day and left message. No return call. Tried calling again and got voice mail again. Call main office to ask for assistance. The top 3 people I needed to talk with were off. Asked to leave voice mail with the owner and was put on hold. Hold was released in time for me to hear girl making insulting remarks about me to someone else. Don't know if co-worker or customer. So much for Privacy Act. Guess law doesn't apply to them. When I spoke and got the girls attention, I asked for the owner's voice mail again. Was on hold almost 10 minutes. Then they picked up the line and hung up on me. Most deplorable service I've ever experienced. These guys should not be in business.Desired Settlement: Apology from owner and girl that talked about me to whomever. A discount off total service for untimely service; being lied to and violation of my privacy.

Review: the bill listed two payments totaling $164.72 but they charged my credit card $194.72. Then Harmon said I still owed them $60.55. This company failed to give me credit for $194.72 I refused to pay the bill. Now they are threatening me with collection action. This company needs to give me credit for $194.72 not $164.72. It might be possible that I owe them $30 but not $60.Desired Settlement: billing adjustment

I made an appointment for a regular eye exam. Because I answered honestly that I had dry eyes and floaters, I was charged for a medical exam, which my insurance does not cover. No one informed me of this at the time. Additionally, I still have to now go have a routine exam to meet my insurance requirements. So now I am out $100 and I still have to go find another doctor to do a routine exam. While not outwardly dishonest, this practice has now cost me significant time and money due to their lack of communication. I will not be going back here.

Review: Went to have eye glasses adjusted. Optician, tightened frame to glass lens too tight, and class cracked. (You can see where screws go into glass)Crack is where screws are. When I complained , manager stated she would give me $70.00 off of new glasses. Big Deal, glasses cost me over $800.00.One lens cost over $200.00 and she wants to give me $70.00 off. A real racket. With my fustration , I thought I would find out what a New lens would cost. The Optician stated I would need to buy two lenses rather than one, for they wouldn't match (Sun-glass),Prism,ect. At this point I called to speak to Mr Harman himself. Was told I could not. Why should I have to buy New glasses (For one lens will not work) or buy anything. They broke them not I. I've been a Realtor for 42 years and if I had any complaint, against me I made it right. And if satisfaction wasn't resolved , client could speak to Owner of the firm , I hid nothing. It's a pity, that money can be some peoples God. They'll all be surprise, when they find out money can't buy Heaven.Desired Settlement: New lenses (Both replaced) One lens will not do , per Optician
