Blackstone
Motors response has an inaccurate depiction of the events that transpired since
the purchase of the 'Legacy, and still no reasonable resolution set forthMy claim was denied by this 3rd party inspector who has a history of
denying legitimate claims and in fact Blackstone Motors has since switched
services due to the fact this this 3rd party warranty company has failed more
than one of his customersA head gasket issue is something that needs to be
done BEFORE it fails and if the head gasket were to fully fail it could
potentially destroy the engineThe gasket is clearly leaking which Hunters
service department confirmed and declined to perform the repair due to its
complex natureIn regards to my personal inspection of the vehicle prior to
purchase, this is not information that can be immediately gleaned without a
vehicle lift and a trained eye familiar with Subaru vehiclesThe only reason I
have put 10,miles on the vehicle since the Subaru dealer discovered the
issue when the car was brought in for some recalls is because I have been
FORCED to by Blackstone motors lack of response to the issue and have been
lucky that the gasket has not yet completely failed and destroyed my engineI
was indeed offered a better deal at Mikes auto repair in Delevan at $
dollars according to Blackstone Motors which he agreed to set up for me
compared to Subaru City Milwaukee’s $But after waiting weeks and hearing
nothing and having my phone calls go unanswered by Blackstone motors I went
straight to Mike’s auto repair who knew nothing of the said deal that had been
supposedly set upBlackstone motors also offered to cover part of the cost
which is what I agreed to, not to just take my $dollars from the 3rd party
warranty company and not resolve the repair, you would think that a respectable
business would honor this agreement which is not unreasonable at all to expect
Not to mention this leak was discovered in January or February when I took the
vehicle to Subaru which I can get the paperwork from the service department, If
the issue had been resolved quickly which is what any reasonable car buyer
would expect from a professional business then I wouldn’t have had to put
10,miles on the vehicleSince I am now on active orders in El Paso Texas,
I can take the vehicle to the Subaru dealer down here and have them also
confirm that the head gasket is indeed leaking and has been for some timeI do
not believe that being upset about being sold a vehicle with a pre-existing repair
costing an estimated $2,to be unreasonable, and I do believe that it would
be a good business practice to resolve the issue, and also expecting this to be
resolved in a timely manner to be a reasonable expectation as well after
spending $12,at his businessBut unfortunately, after months and months of
trying to resolve the issue with the dealer I was finally forced to seek assistance
from the Revdex.com I think
a proper resolution to this issue would be to cover part of the repair cost as
promised, and a written apology for months extra time, money and effort trying

Well, I anticipated a response along these lines,
can't expect a used car salesman to honor his word to help cover the cost.
Integrity apparently isn’t part his vocabulary... as we know used car salesman
have an outstanding reputation to maintain, built over the course of decades in
such an honorable profession. “I will throw some cash at it.” As for the
vehicle it’s hardly driven down here because I’m on a military base, and it is
still burning coolant at an impressive rate which is indicative of a badly leaking
head gasket. THESE findings are legitimate and documented by Subaru themselves,
not some second rate warranty company that did such a poor job it was dumped by
the world renown Blackstone Motors of Delavan, WI. Like I said before, any
normal business that had a reputation to uphold would want to rectify an issue such
as this, not sell someone a lemon that needs 2,300 dollars in repairs and tell
them “oh well.” And again, it’s not unreasonable whatsoever to be upset about
this and upset about being led to believe that this issue was going to be
resolved at a cheaper price and have the dealer cover part of the price, this
was a fair deal that I indeed accepted and was satisfied with until it never
came to fruition. Also, if were going comment on health care which has nothing
at all to do with resolving this issue whatsoever; I’m sure a used car salesman
is such an expert on. I mean as a paramedic civilian side and an army medic personally
giving out $100,000’s in immunizations daily and hundreds of routine ambulance
trips (covered by health insurance companies I, myself record.) with patients
receiving preventive treatments to avoid larger, much more costly problems…what

It's unfortunate that Mr [redacted] feels this way but I'll explain This again. Warranty companies to not do repairs based on preventative care. Health insurance generally doesn't either. His head gasket falls under what's normal seepage and the warranty company sent me pictures of this to prove there findings because I went after them and took the time to make sure he was not getting the run around. There findings were legitimate and documented. Mr [redacted] was not in agreement and upset. I offered him this other repair option that was less as a option.  He was never offered a repair at my expense. I offered him help in getting it done cheaper. Mr [redacted] had this vehicle inspected by a friend of down sort prior to purchase. From Blackstone Motors the vehicle was sold as is.  He chose to purchase a warranty. He didn't like that outcome and requested a refund so we did so.When he came in for his check for his warranty he stated that he had been running all over and was to busy to mess with this right now. You don't need a head gasket that has no failed. There is no fluids in this oils that should not be and no over heating or power loss or anything of this sort. He took the car down to Texas as well, apparently where the temperatures are much higher then other places and in the summer mind you and still no failure. This is a opinion of repair needed. Warranty companies repair broken cars. Not vehicles that have not failed. I told Mr [redacted] to drive it and enjoy it and if it ever failed to call his warranty company and this was not a option for him. All cars and head gaskets are subject to head gasket failure. There used cars and even new ones are. Factory warranties work the same way. If it fails they will repair it. But not until this happens. He's put over 10,000 miles on it and that's a year of driving. No ones gonna repair a non broken car so Mr [redacted] feels better.Thank you

Blackstone
Motors response has an inaccurate depiction of the events that transpired since
the purchase of the '09 Legacy, and still no reasonable resolution set forth. My claim was denied by this 3rd party inspector who has a history of
denying legitimate claims and in fact Blackstone Motors has since switched
services due to the fact this this 3rd party warranty company has failed more
than one of his customers. A head gasket issue is something that needs to be
done BEFORE it fails and if the head gasket were to fully fail it could

service department confirmed and declined to perform the repair due to its
complex nature. In regards to my personal inspection of the vehicle prior to

FORCED to by Blackstone motors lack of response to the issue and have been
lucky that the gasket has not yet completely failed and destroyed my engine. I
was indeed offered a better deal at Mikes auto repair in Delevan at $1700
dollars according to Blackstone Motors which he agreed to set up for me
compared to Subaru City Milwaukee’s $2300. But after waiting weeks and hearing

which is what I agreed to, not to just take my $1500 dollars from the 3rd party
warranty company and not resolve the repair, you would think that a respectable
business would honor this agreement which is not unreasonable at all to expect.
Not to mention this leak was discovered in January or February when I took the
vehicle to Subaru which I can get the paperwork from the service department, If
the issue had been resolved quickly which is what any reasonable car buyer
would expect from a professional business then I wouldn’t have had to put

I can take the vehicle to the Subaru dealer down here and have them also

costing an estimated $2,000 to be unreasonable, and I do believe that it would
be a good business practice to resolve the issue, and also expecting this to be
resolved in a timely manner to be a reasonable expectation as well after
spending $12,000 at his business. But unfortunately, after months and months of
trying to resolve the issue with the dealer I was finally forced to seek assistance
from the Revdex.com.  I think
a proper resolution to this issue would be to cover part of the repair cost as
promised, and a written apology for months extra time, money and effort trying
