I understand that things happen but from to weeks to months that is unacceptable to me

We do understand that Ms. [redacted] wants an exact date for installation, however, with the current weather situation we are not able to give an exact date.  As of today we are looking at installing Ms. [redacted]'s carport by the end of next week or by Saturday October 17th.

I am rejecting this response because:
Once again ,  this business has failed to meet their commitments.   In their previous response,  the install date would be no later than 10/17 but as of today 10/16,  there has been absolutely no contact made by the company to arrange for this to be installed.    It has now been 3 months since I started communications directly  with the company to get the carport installed but no success to this point.

I purchased a large metal carport approximately 2 years ago. When it was installed, everything appeared to be done correctly. I noticed a couple of months ago that the metal braces on one side were buckling severely and found out that side was not plumb and was installed at an angle. I sent pictures to the company and was told that there was only a one year warranty of the carport. I was not satisfied with this answer as it took more than one year for the shoddy installation to be noticed and they still would not budge or try to fix their poor workmanship. This was not a product issue, but lack of skill on the installers part. They told me I could BUY new braces and have them installed but they would not make the problem right. I plan on buying braces from someone else and fixing the problem myself. This is a poor way to run a business. I am writing a review instead of filing a complaint because technically, I know what the contract says about the one year warranty and a complaint would go nowhere. That still doesn't make it right. Stay away from this business, you will end up having to pay someone else to fix their shoddy work.

In regards to Mr. [redacted], he has been made aware of the delays in scheduling his structure.  We are very sorry about this delay as things such as our metal sheeting company suffering from several breakdowns in the past couple of months have occurred.  These things are beyond our...

control so we did compose a letter to let our customers know the situation and reason for delay.  Please see copy of this letter attached to this response.  We did not ask that Mr. [redacted] not call our office at all.  We asked that customers not call ONLY as a response to the letter.  If all 300 customers call at once our staff will not be able to properly assist each one.  Mr. [redacted] is coming up in our schedule and we can assure him that we are working as quickly as possible to get his building out to him.

I am rejecting this response because:  It has been more than 8 weeks since I made the initial contact with the company  directly.   It took them more than a week to contact the owner to get confirmation on how to proceed although I was later told they do these types of donation to auctions all the time.   When I spoke to the general manager 3 weeks ago, I was told that I had been moved up in the scheduling since it had been so long but still have not gotten a date of when they expect to install.    Basically,  was told by the general manager that these "Freebies"  that were donated for charitable events were pushed to the bottom of the installation schedule.   In order for this complaint to be resolved is to get an installation date that they are committed to.

In response to the complaint made by [redacted], Diamond Outdoor of the Carolinas considers all orders a priority and they are all installed in the order in which they are received.  Instead of contacting our company directly Ms. [redacted] was contacting the person that made the donation to...

a charity event.  Chris [redacted] is not a sales person at our company.  He is an installer and the person that donated the carport to the event.  At the point in which Ms. [redacted] did contact our company her order was put into the rotation along with all other orders.  As soon as Ms. [redacted]'s order comes up in our rotation we will install the carport.
