In regaurds to the complaint filed 8/17/against [redacted] 'S BIKE SHOP ID# [redacted] The bike in question is a Harley FLH Troublehead year old bike that had been sitting for 10+ years was brought into my shop on May 05, on a trailer not runing and a Total Wreck, rust in the gas tank,dried rotted fuel lines, frozen brakes and master cylnders, wiring all messed up,dry rotted and flat tires front and rear, both front and rear rims rusted and pitted,no cluch,and much moreThe customer was informed at that time that the bike may cost more than is worth to fixHe (the customer) said he did not care he got the bike for FreeWe went a head and took it in to start work with a deposit and no Guarantee these older Troublehead parts can be expense and hard to findI begain working on it the next day I bent over backwards on this bike to get it running and road worthyAs for the Rims he came and picked up the rims and took them out to be powder coated because he said he could'nt aford to buy new onesWhen he broght the rims back I put New Tires and Rim Gaurds on they were holding air at that timeAfter alot of Time Work and New Parts I got the bike running and running goodI was unable to test drive the bike as the bike was not Registeredl am not a Dealer so if a bike is not registered with the DMV I can not ride it on the Streets the customer was aware of this because I told him myself and had asked for the Tags multable timesAfter multable issue's and alot of work and fine funning he rode the bike out of my shop on August 12,running fine and he was a happy camperThis is the first I've heard of any more Problems with this bikeHe himself states that the bike was running fine then all of a sudden stop running but when he switched it over to resurve the bike started right up ( witch means it was out of gas)Any Issues or Problems I went out of my way to please, help and fix giving him a big break if not free of charge on parts and labor, It is in my opinion that Kevan got the bike for free and wants someone else to pay for the repairsAs for him wanting a full refund who's going to cover the cost of all the new parts and labor that was done and that are still on his bike?
