My boyfriends car was towed there after an accident, at first they "misplaced" his car, refused to tell him where his car was and refused to let him retrieve any of his belongings, even his house keys, the workers there are very rude, customer service is horrible, seems like they are running a scam.

Review: We contacted this company to tow us to the side of the road, out of an intersection. We were initially advised that the tow would cost $175.00, which is an inflated price since they towed us less than 1/10 of a mile, approximately one football field length, however we were forced to do something and are from out of the area. Once the tow truck driver had our truck off to the shoulder of the road another tow truck pulled up behind us and advised the driver of our tow truck to charge us $250.00. Not only was the driver rude and unconcerned about the previous quote he refused to drive us to an ATM to retrieve more money. We had to contact the Delaware State Police to give us a ride back to an ATM. The Delaware State Police advised us that they would remove Harold's from their call rotation because it was CRIMINAL that they charged us more than $100 to tow us the distance that they did. When I contacted the OWNER of Harold's he advised me that I should "shut up and learn to [redacted] listen and that it was his business and he would charge me whatever he [redacted] wanted to charge me and if I wanted to dispute the amount he would raise the price to $350".Desired Settlement: Harold's should refund us AT LEAST $75 which would be the original QUOTE BY THEIR EMPLOYEE of $175, even though that is still a RIDICULOUS amount of money! For informational purposes we had a tow truck come from NEW JERSEY and tow us from the location to CUMBERLAND COUNTY, NEW JERSEY for less than $250.00!!!!!
