This generator was sold to Mr*** as a decommissioned generator meaning it was fully drained of all fluids. It was specified as a KVA generator, which is the same as a KW (kilovolt-amps vs kilowatts). I was going to go to Mr***'s house and try to show him how it runs,
but I have been in the hospital for the past weeks and unable to do that. I plan to reach out to him in the next few weeks to go over everything with him. I hope that resolves his issues

Review: [redacted] Development built our house which was completed August 10th, 2012 at which point we moved in. It took over 18 months to get our contracted "punch list" of items fixed which was documented and turned into the builder by deadline. The issue at hand is after our drywall was "fixed" from the popped screws the dry wall company did a very poor job of fixing our dry wall. We have different colored texture that was sprayed in place of where the repairs were. We now have 5 large sections of our kitchen that range from 3'x1' to 1'x1' sections that are discolored and very noticeable. There has been many discussion with [redacted]'s employees that cover the warranty. We have dealt with 2, the most recent being a guy named [redacted]. He said he would get someone in to fix it which has not happened. The only thing that did happen was the dry wall company came back out looked at it and said oh well its a different color paint in the texture that was sprayed and they had no fix for it and left. Nothing has been done since. We have been in our house now for 27 months and I feel we have tried enough to get [redacted] to assist with fixing the poor quality of work from their subcontractors. I have had numerous phone calls and voicemails ignored by their warranty employees on the subject as well as the owner [redacted]. I've left messages with their front desk and still get no where on this issue. I have asked if the company of Sherwin Williams who was contracted to paint the inside of our house could come back and just paint the affected area all white so it was all one color and I was told that was not an option but was not given any options other than no and being ignored. I am to the point of frustration of paying for this to get fixed on our own and going through the lengthily process of small claims court to get refunded as I do not feel this is in any part our responsibility to fix as it was the subcontractors hired by [redacted] with the poor quality of work that being [redacted] Development's responsibility to own up to it.Desired Settlement: My desired settlement would be for Harpe Development to fix this properly whether it be painting the entire affected area so it is one color or re-texture the entire area OR for them to pay us the money for us to get it fixed on our own with the company of our choice to know it gets done correctly.

Harpe Development has contacted this customer today and scheduled a site visit to assess the work. The employee that was being contacted has not worked for Harpe Development LLC for three months and the warranty team has new employees. After reviewing the contract their was a paint credit given for our normal white paint coat that we use after the texture. In this case the owner took a credit for that and just used a sand texture primer with colors on the walls. This was done to save money to offset the cost of doing the colors on the walls. It was explained that this is just a primer and that with the color over that primer it would hold the sand texture to the walls but that the ceiling would only be a "sand texture primer" mix. We do not typically allow this and haven't for well over year because of the associated issues with touch ups. Harpe Development will as the situation to see if a sand texture primer was applied to the touch up areas or if the finish white paint was applied to the touch ups. If the visible touch up mark is the result of the primers not matching 100% then it would be normal. If the final white coat had been applied and then the color to the walls then the ceiling would have the finish paint coat and this would not be an issue.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that their explanation was not accurate as to what happened. However, the owner of the company came out, recognized that there was a problem, more than what they previously described. Texture, discoloration, tap and mudding quality that was poorly done. As a result of our meeting the owner of Harpe Development has scheduled the dry wall company to come and fix multiple areas in our home that were poorly done. Now that this has been scheduled and the repair process has began this resolution is satisfactory to me.

We built with Harpe in 2011 and what started out to be a great experience quickly turned into a nightmare once it came to completing repairs and warranty work. The costly mistakes they made were numerous. Three years of unreturned phone calls and emails, finally over and the last repair was just completed Thanksgiving day. 2014. Glad it's over, would never build with them again.

We love our Harpe home!! We met with several builders and we felt Harpe was the best by far. They make the process easy. We met with [redacted] several times to discuss floor plan ideas. He always made time for us and made our dream a reality. The design team is great as well. Our project manager was wonderful and always kept us informed of the progress. We have been in our home two months and couldn't be happier. We would highly recommend Harpe Development.

Review: We decided to build a new home in may of 2013. There were many short cuts made to get the job completed and the quality was lacking. We had many questions that received sub par answers. Given that we were naive to the whole building process we put a lot of trust in them and now we are very frustrated with various issues that have come up. There were about five project managers or "company representatives" that would come on to the case because the previous person was fired and communication was terrible. We would have to repeat the same issue multiple times. Now we made an agreement with them to get our concrete fixed because of multiple issues that were either very poor prep work or not meeting code and we were told it would get done within 2 weeks of weather permitting days. It has been well beyond that with no communication. We moved into the home in december of 2013 & still have unresolved issues and it is May 2015?!?Desired Settlement: repair issues to original agreement and part ways.

Harpe Development has a system in place that makes building possible for everyone. You get the ideal mix of dealing directly with the owners, but the benefits of the extremely smooth system they have put in place to make the entire process as stress free as possible. The showroom offers a one stop shop and the designer that you are teamed with, takes all of the stress out of the selections. I hear often how people feel so overwhelmed with the idea of making all of the choices with a new home and they make this easy. The features are superior to others I have viewed and the prices are more competitive. I love that they give you all of the facts, so you can feel comfortable and be sure that you not only know the exact price for your custom plan, but can be comfortable and confident with the entire process. I stand behind the process, the products and the value that I feel is there with choosing to build a home with Harpe Development.

Review: We were in the process of trying to build a home with this company. WE designed the home 100% ourselves. They continually delayed things and caused a lot of issues. They would make promises and never fulfill any of them. My husband called a little upset but reasonable, them to complain about the lack of movement and lack of response by them. He left a message for the owner, [redacted]. [redacted] called our home back more than 15 minutes later and threatened that he was going to "kick his [redacted] That is an exact quote from the owner to my husband as he was very belligerent for his lack of fulfilling his commitments and agreements.

Even the bank that he recommended us to work through is very upset with this company with [redacted] and his company's lack of responsiveness and how they have treated us as we were supposed to get all of the paperwork for our loan together last week and they cannot get us anything and are causing delays in our construction and in getting our loan and at a good rate, as all we needed was the final paperwork that was supposed to be to us by the latest last week Wednesday.Desired Settlement: WE expect an apology and for them to pay for any amount that we loose in the proses having to go with a higher loan rate and for any delays in selling our current home or getting into the new one. We were expecting to be in in June. People also need to be informed of how they treat people. And they do not have any rights to the design we came up with.

Revdex.com:

This is not a customer of ours. This potential customer brought in their own plans. The plans were very basic and after receiving the initial quote back needed to get the price down. Our draftsmen re drew the basement plans so we could get new pricing in attempt to get the costs down. After receiving about 2 emails a day on a status update on the pricing that was not to be completed until Saturday I received a rude email. I then responded with this email:

Thank you to the Harpe Development staff for my families new beautiful home! From start to finish the process was very easy and pretty close to stress free! Phil was awesome with all of our plan change requests! Working with Angela and Trish on the selection was great! The show room was large and had more than enough options to keep us on budget! Jeff was great keeping all of our change orders together! The biggest thanks is to our project manager Jason! He kept our project on time finishing in just under 4 months with a minimal punch list. We just finished our small punch list with Ryan. Ryan had everyone out on one day and got everything taken care of. We would definitley recommend anyone to build with Harpe Development! Thanks again for the beautiful home!
