I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
The car WAS towed from our home at *** *** *** *** ** ***My daughter watched it pull awayI called *** at Nationwide Transport Services and told him as soon as I got home and found outI also called *** *** *** to see why they towed it and how far it was being towed and they told me it was towed about miles awayI was told by *** and (he said they advertise this) that they use a flat bed at pick up. The photographs that *** *** sent me from *** *** *** are NOT the photos that they took at my house prior to the towThey took many photos outside in our street and it was very sunny outThe photos she sent me were taken in a garageProbably after the towShe would not even help me or talk with me after I sent her that in an emailWe have never talked sinceShe has ignored my emails and phone messages. The reason the photos were taken after the delivery date was explained in my original letterMy daughters dad passed awayWe were in the middle of a funeral when they just called and wanted to drop it offEven though they were supposed to contact us to set up a timeWe had to fly out after the funeral and move my daughter inShe was also starting a new jobThere was so much going onIt does not mean that the scratches were not there. Lastly, *** *** *** DOES towThey told me so on the phoneThey said that it depends on what Nationwide Transport asks for*** said he did not specify because it was supposed to be a flatbedThey also asked me twice when they called to schedule a pick up if our car was workingI said "yes, of course"I had no idea why they asked thatProbably because they saw it was being towedI had no idea that was an optionI just answered the question and scheduled it. Nationwide Transport Services has done nothing to resolve this complaint after I sent the photos to ***Most of the scratches are hard to see on a cameraThey are all over the carIt's awfulWish we NEVER used them!

There are a number of issues raised by Ms [redacted] in the transport of her 2009 VW Jetta with 67030 miles of use and we will address the major issues in this reply.Nationwide Transport Services (NTS) and its contract carrier, [redacted], reject the damage claim of $1,200 as it was not...

adequately supported or documented as requested in our email to her of 8/25/16, copy attached.  The major issue here is a scratch which was pre-existing which supposedly became larger after transport.  [redacted] and NTS reject this claim and we have pictures to show damage before and after on this "major scratch".   See Exhibits - Second picture was taken about 10 days after delivery in CA.  On pick-up there were 14 scratches identified on the vehicle as shown in the vehicle inspection report - copy attached.   There are no damages additional to those on pick up and proof was not provided nor was the detailed estimate of damages.  As to the pick-up issue, the VW was not picked up and towed as is alleged by the Ms Schneider but the vehicle was loaded on a flatbed.  [redacted] does not tow vehicle as it only transports vehicles. The cars are transported to a train station, loaded on an enclosed train car carrier, transported to Los Angeles Terminal and then transported again to the final destination.As to the scheduling of pick up and delivery, [redacted] coordinates same with the customer and our contract states that 24 hours should be give for pick-up and delivery.  If times were not convenient, the customer should reschedule the transport.  This was not done by Ms. Schneider and NTS did not get involved in either side of the transport.  One concern of the customer was to get the car to CA as quickly as possible and this was done.  We apologize for any scheduling issued but we were not informed of any issues.  In transportation, deliveries are always COD and credit is not policy for carriers.  Regarding refund of $100 because the car was "towed" rather than "transported" this refund was not applicable as car was not towed.We have addressed most of the issues and we hope our explanation addresses why a refund of $1200 is not valid in our opinion.

I have spoken with [redacted] regarding the issues with his transport of his 2007 Mercedes. I did apologize to him for the miscommunication getting the car picked up.  [redacted] in our office has been trying diligently to find a carrier to pick up his car in Mercedes TX.  She...

has been in contact with him and they both have come to the conclusion that getting a carrier there at this time is not possible.  We have refunded the full amount of $618.00 to Mr. [redacted] and sent him an email regarding the credit.  The location for pick up was a very remote location and was very difficult to get a carrier to go that far down into Texas. I  copy of the credit card receipt showing the credit to Mr. [redacted]'s card is attached.
