I was told I was getting a 2014 jeep [redacted] with 36 mile and 4wd the sale man name [redacted] knew exactly what I needed in the car I went to harr in [redacted] to purchase a 4x4 vehicle I spoke to the sale man by the name of [redacted] and he showed me a rav4 then his manager said I would do better in a jeep gave me a few to choose from and I found a 2014 jeep [redacted] limited with 36 mile and 4x4 only problem was I was in a short time schedule because I was relocating to another state they assured me that everything would be fine I took delivery of the vehicle around 6:00 pm once I got in the car I noticed that the odometer read 357 miles so I went in side and told [redacted] and he said don't worry ill speak to my boss in the morning the next morning when I went back to speak with [redacted] he seemed angry and told me that he lost money on the car and that was it and there was nothing that he could do for me I was in a time crunch and he knew it so when I relocate I it dawned on me that they did not give me any copies of any paper work I call ed to ask a question about the 4x4 [redacted] said that the car absolutely had 4x4 and that he was going to call his boss to figure it out he never called me back so when I called back he got very angry and told me that it did not matter who I called that it could be the president of the united states Obama that there was nothing that he could not do or would not do for me because they lost money on the carDesired Settlementi had a [redacted] 2007 all paid off the only reason why I want rid of my car was because I wanted 4x4 suv so what I am asking for is a [redacted] refund which is [redacted] in trade and [redacted] in cash or the car that they originally sold me or some how put 4x4 on the car that I haveBusiness Response I'm not sure of how there was this type of misunderstanding but there where a lot of vehicles being discussed. The customer is responsible for knowing what vehicle and equipment he/she is buying. They did not buy the vehicle sight unseen and had every opportunity to verify the equipment they wanted. At this point the only option is to trade the vehicle back in as it has been registered and titled already. Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)unacceptable response I was not able to see the vehicle in person because it was in there [redacted] location and did not see the vehicle there closing time late Saturday when I saw that the car had 357 miles on it and the the 36 that was advertised I which was the one that I choose I immediately went in side and told [redacted] he told me that he was going to speak to his boss in the morning because they were closing about not to worry and he would call me back so he did not call me back so I went in to speak with him to what happened and why the a new car that I did not choose because I chose the one that only had 36 a mile his answer to me was there was he could do about it so a week later when there was snow storm approaching I was looking for the 4x4 and I couldn't find it so again I call [redacted] and what he told me was that the car I have has 4x4 and how told me that it did not I told him that is was no where in the car that I checked the manual it showed it on the manual but not in the car so after [redacted] being so sure that the car had 4x4 he hangs up on so I call back then said hes there was nothing he can do that even if I call the president of the united state nothing could be done for me I have no paper work from these people and I am questioning the trance action that I made with these people if they misinformed about the car that I was getting what else there lying about they took advantage of the fact that I was relocating and they thought figure this out the one thing that I wanted in the car was 4x4 and [redacted] knew that they are well aware of what they did and they need to make it right Final Business Response After further discussion in regards to the purchase of [redacted] it's been determined that there were many different [redacted] being discussed between price and equipment but it was ultimately the customer's choice on the vehicle she picked out. 4 wheel drive is not standard equipment and therefore she did not pay for the option. I would be willing to discuss the option of trading the vehicle back to us but it would be at fair market value. The vehicle is now registered and titled and the value has been impacted. She obviously looked at the vehicle before taking delivery and we also have a 48 hour return policy but she did not bring this to our attention for a week

Purchase was completed, vehicle delivered to me, and payment made in full. Team Manager now calling me to ask for additional money.I negotiated hard over several days and after trading-in a car, and after arriving at a creative discount, incentive, rebate and trade-in allowance, and after satisfying the full downpayment - and after having Harr "sign" the contract and register, title, and deliver the car to me, they are having sellers remorse and both their Team Manager and their Credit Manager have called me (I have phone records to this effect) harrassing me and asking me for additional money. They need to live with the contract that they finalized and confirmed and quit their illegal harrassment of me.I have a signed copy of the bill of sale for the car and as a point - if they were not made whole for the deal they presented to me, they certainly would not register, title, and deliver the car to me.Desired SettlementQuit their harrassment, accept the contract sale they made, have the owner apologize to me for the improper acts of his employees.Business Response Contact Name and Title: [redacted]/GMContact Phone: XXXXXXXXXXMr. [redacted] knows he did not give the initial deposit of [redacted] as his bill of sale states. If he can show a receipt for the deposit then we will stop asking him to pay it. The person who did his paperwork made a mistake and did not collect the full deposit of [redacted] We are simply asking him to fulfill what his bill of sale states. At this point we will not be asking for him to pay the remainder we will let the court decide if he has fulfilled his obligation. It is a shame that people can't be more honest in todays society and are always trying to get over. Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)Their manager Justin said the deposit was fully satisfied and as they stated any mistake was on their side. I negotiated for a total all inclusive price with my down payment. If after accepting the deal and completing the contract they had an issue they would not have delivered the car. There was no balance due.It is unfortunate that Hard is trying to tell a different story and they should represent the [redacted] product line more honestly. I will also contact [redacted] to let them know that Hard doesn't honor their deal. If they want they can give me my money and trade in back and they can have the [redacted]I won't give them any more than I negotiated and agreed to and Justin agreed to, accepted, and sold the car for.Final Business Response The court will decide if Mr. [redacted] satisfied the down payment that he agreed to by signature.

Tow truck driver dropped car key off at dealership and dealer subsequently lost it. Refused to reimburse me for lost key or take responsibility. On [redacted] I called [redacted] in order to tow my wife's 2008 [redacted] which had two flat tires to Harr Jeep in [redacted] for tire repair and/or replacement. The tow truck picked up the vehicle and key fob and subsequently delivered the vehicle to Harr Jeep, dropping the key fob into the mail slot for the service department. The key was subsequently lost, and neither the tow truck company nor Harr Jeep would take responsibility to reimburse me for the lost key. I had multiple conversations with [redacted], the [redacted] from Harr Jeep, as well as [redacted] and the tow truck company regarding this incident. [redacted] from Harr jeep represented to me as well as [redacted] multiple times that his cleaning crew most likely swept away the key, however Harr Jeep maintains no responsibility for reimbursing me for the lost key since he did not physically take possession of the key. After multiple discussions, he then changed his story that his cleaning crew could not have misplaced it as the office is rarely cleaned. [redacted] offered to cover 1/2 of the cost of a replacement key on behalf of the tow company, however Harr Jeep refused to cover any costs, maintaining zero responsibility, even though they made multiple representations that they may be partially responsible.Desired SettlementI want Harr Jeep to pay for 1/2 of the cost to replace and reprogram the Key Fob for my wife's 2008 [redacted] which was lost by the dealership.Business Response I believe we have resolved this issue.

I purchased a car on [redacted] and the head gasket blew two days [redacted] after purchasing the vehicle. Harr took the vehicle in to fix it, and provided me with a rental car for a day. The car was fixed the next day, but still feels strange to drive. I took the car to Harr on [redacted] and asked to return the car, and get a different one. They told me that they have a 48 hour return policy, and they are unable to take the car back, or allow me to purchase a different one.Product_Or_Service: 2012 [redacted]Account_Number: NXXX-XXXXXXXXXXXXDesired SettlementI would like them to provide me with a replacement car.Business Response Once the vehicle is registered and title you cannot return a vehicle. Your only choice is to trade the vehicle in. Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)The vehicle is neither registered nor does the title have my signature on it. I refuse to sign the title or register the vehicle because, the title did not come in time, and they have not resolved my issue and concerns with the car.Final Business Response I believe the customer is coming at [redacted] today to pick out a new vehicle.

Was scheduled to see a Jeep and filled in all paperwork ahead of time w/ [redacted]. Vehicle was sold despite calling ahead 3x to verify it was still there. Was scheduled to see a Jeep and filled in all paperwork ahead of time w/ [redacted]. Vehicle was sold despite calling ahead 3x to verify it was still there. Drive 2.5 hrs each way.Scheduled w/ [redacted] on [redacted] for following day. [redacted] and [redacted] were useless, rude and disparaging. I was hung up on numerous times by numerous people. Car was sold out from underneath me and I was told it was on the lot before I left for the trip and before I arrived (both on the am of [redacted] This was untrue as it was sold the day before (despite still being advertised on the web. I was promised calls back and no one ever called back to try to correct the situation. They tried to sell me cars and hi mileage jeeps. I only came there for 1 jeep that was on the lot. This was a bait to get me there and then an attempt to sell me a junker. Cust Svc was awful and this is very unprofessional management team. Multiple false representations were made by them.Desired SettlementWould have purchased another jeep on the lot but they laughed at the suggestion that they meet me 1/2way considering their mis-representations. Want them to locate a jeep w. similar specs and mileage or better and sell it to me at same cost as one advertised that they didn't have on the lot. That is false advertising. Business Response We do not hold cars without a deposit and there is clearly a "buy it now" button on our website which the customer did not take advantage of. I understand the customers frustration but if someone bought the car before they came in I cannot help that. Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)I found the jeep on cargus and contacted Harr who never mentioned a buynow button. I coordinated a mtng for the next morning with [redacted]. I contacted Harr the next morning 2x before 2x before coming to confirm apt that morning before coming into dealership... but after jeep was apparently sold the evening before... and was told each time it was ready for me to see and test drive. This seemingly bait and switch approach was never addressed by the management staff or owner who I contacted directly to discuss with after the incident. I was hung up on by multiple staff members and they tried to sell me non wrangler jeeps which they knew I was not interested in. I came in to see one specific vehicle. I do not accept their response and hope the Revdex.com looks into the business practices of Harr.Final Business Response I apologize for the mix up but it is not our intention to bring customers in for vehicles that are not available.

I purchased a 2012 [redacted] with cash ( [redacted] on [redacted] The cash was wired to harr [redacted] I still do not have my jeep. They are in receipt of my money but told me Tuesday that they did not realize the title to the car was signed by another person. I said, " how could you sell me a car and take my money into your account but never have physically looked at the title prior ?" [redacted] (sales) offered me a rental but I don't need or want a rental. I have been lied to by this company. [redacted] also told me that he had not received the money on [redacted] because they were in the process of changing Internet providers and then the actual salesman that showed me the car ([redacted] called me and said the wired money was there as of 4:30pm... Justin's call was after 5.Desired SettlementI want my jeep and some type of financial compensation for : bad business, the inconvenience, unprofessional business practice etc... I feel like they think I should just get over it and be patient with them. At the end of the day they have debited over $ [redacted] out of my account and I am beyond irritated. In addition I paid extra for a warranty and oil changes and I don't know if I can trust them.Business Response I believe this issue has been addressed.
