Harris Internet Reviews (%countItem)

Josh Harris is a Florida based entrepreneur that sold me a $9,000 online program in 2017 called Quantum Jump Consulting, which upgraded into Agency Growth Secrets. This program boasted lots of success stories and heavily implied that a smart person willing to work hard and follow the steps could build their own legitimate and ethical online business, and overall become financially successful. This program did not deliver.

Before purchasing, a disclaimer at the bottom of one of his sales pages claimed that this program works for 100% of people who give the program their 100%. With this in mind, I had faith in Josh and his mission, so I committed my 100% to the program.

I worked hard and committed my all to the course cost, extra business expenses, and time required to be completed. I also took advantage of his training videos and online support. But, no matter how hard I worked, it did not seem like it was ever enough. When asking for help, I was constantly blamed for not doing enough (or not paying enough) when I did not make a return on investment, even after three years of hard work.

This year Josh texted me trying to sell me yet another program.

Josh does not allow for refunds and insists that the program is not the part of the equation that is flawed. Because Josh Harris encouraged me to go further into debt with the expectation to quickly earn it back, endorsed illegal actions within the program, and focuses on selling more programs instead of helping his paying clients, I am appalled at his business practices and demand this to be made right.

All of my claims will be further described with documentation to back them. In short, I am bringing this complaint due to claiming exclusivity false ownership over programs, encouraging the violation of LinkedIn policies, faulty to acknowledge biased testimonials, refusing to listen to and acknowledge struggling clients, encouraging me to go deeply into debt, failure to disclose extra expenses upfront, and creating deceiving disclaimers.
Product_Or_Service: Quantum Jump/Agency Growth Secrets Course

Desired Outcome

Refund Overall, I have spent $9,000 on the program, at least $5,000 on the required business expenses, and even more on the credit card interest for these charges. I have also committed several hours of my time, all that I will never get back. With all of this said, all I ask is that Joshua Harris refunds me the $9,000 in cash that I paid him, compensates for the past $500 per month expenses for In Market Targeting, and reassure the misleading business practices will never happen again.

Response to *** claim:

First, I want to apologize. I'm sorry we let *** down as a partner who invested in our training & coaching program.

We always take feedback from all our partners to heart and are consistently making changes to any issues that arise.

We pride ourselves with the reported facts that our product can truly make a change when executed properly. So much so, when a fellow member struggles, we band together as a team to ensure all our partners can produce results within their own respective businesses.

Secondly, with all due respect, the claims made by *** are false and unsupported, along with shocking as we have never heard any of them from her directly over the last 3 years.

See everything addressed to the points made below:

Claim: Josh Harris sold me a $9,000 online program in 2017:

Answer: *** has paid us $8,000. 1 Payment of $3,000, followed by 2 payments of $2500 that took place on a payment plan for her. See the screenshot attached showing all payments received.

Claim: This program boasted lots of success stories and heavily implied that a smart person willing to work hard and follow the steps could build their own legitimate and ethical online business, and overall become financially successful.

Answer: We have been in the consulting and training business for 4 years and have had hundreds of partners work with us. We provide our partners with all the training, coaching, tools, and resources needed for them to be successful. As a result, dozens of them are doing over $10,000/month, with our largest partner doing $350,000/month. We also run an internal agency that generates 8 figures per year (Which is the bas knowledge of what we teach in our program). I believe that would classify us as a legitimate business.

Claim: This program did not deliver.

Answer: Both programs access were delivered upon payment (see screenshot with access to both). If saying it did not deliver because she was not successful, then I would like to understand the specific circumstances to understand WHY. Rather than it being written that it is somehow our fault that she was not successful. That is surely not the case and surprisingly we have had zero communication related to even 1 problem related to any of this since her joining in 2017. 3 years later this is coming up with no evidence of any of these claims. See screenshots of ALL communications our company has received for the last 3 years all documented. (1 FB message and 2 support tickets None of it related to anything other than starting).

Claim: Before purchasing, a disclaimer at the bottom of one of his sales pages claimed that this program works for 100% of people.

Answer: This is absolutely 100% false as NO company can guarantee results in the training and coaching space. Please see our earnings disclaimer explaining our policy which is on every marking funnel our company has used since 2016, along with the company website: https://www.agencygrowthsecrets.com/earnings-disclaimer/

Claim: I also took advantage of his training videos and online support.

Answer: See screenshots attached of every conversation that has taken place with us since 2017. As mentioned before. 3 messages total and none of them are related to a problem in any way, and nothing has been received in years since starting the program.

Claim: But, no matter how hard I worked, it did not seem like it was ever enough. When asking for help, I was constantly blamed for not doing enough (or not paying enough) when I did not make a return on investment, even after three years of hard work.

Answer: (SAME AS PREVIOUS) See screenshots attached of every conversation that has taken place with us since 2017. As mentioned before. 3 messages total and none of them are related to a problem in any way, and nothing has been received in years since starting the program.

Claim: This year Josh texted me trying to sell me yet another program.

Answer: She is on our email list as a past customer from all these years and was probably sent a new offer because the program material has changed 2 times since she has joined. We are happy to remove her from our list but we have not received a message for her to do so nor has anything been marked in our email provider to be unsubscribed.

Claim: I am appalled at his business practices and demand this to be made right.

Answer: Hopefully these responses provide the details needed to show that these claims are false. As far as making it right, I would request too actually hear from the individual to discuss all these false claims and why they were really made. We are just as appalled to hear this from our side. Especially since none of it matches up. Then without any communication with us directly, 3 years later these complaints show up.

Customer Response • Apr 19, 2020

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
*Documentation Attached*

First, thank you for the apology. It has been very difficult to get in touch with someone on the team, evident in how long it took *** to get a response after several attempts. I appreciate getting some recognition and it is saddening to see how much effort I had to make just so I could feel visible in this situation.

Still, I think we can come to a common agreement for the true amount of effort I put into this coaching program. After several years of attempts, and working with other popular coaches in the industry, I realized after the fact that there were several reasons why the program did not work due to its unsustainable practices. Here is my response to the communication received from the business on April 8th.

Claim: "Our product can truly make a change when executed properly."

Answer: This is entirely the reason why I have brought this situation to your attention, because I executed the program to a tee per Josh's instruction. Still I was not able to get a client and I repeatedly lay out all of the reasons that led up to that. That alone speaks volumes about the program that I worked hard, invested a lot of money, studied material, and still could not land one client.

Claim: We are shocked to just now hear this after 3 years / There has been zero documented communication / This showed up out of the blue / We would prefer *** to reach out directly.

Answer: This was a recurring theme throughout the response, and I will address this all at once:

- As to their claim of no documented communication, they clearly did not include all forms of communication I have had with the company. Their documentation does not include my direct messages via Facebook with Josh H., or the phone number they used to reach out to me, see documentation. There do not seem to be clear records kept given that they claim there is zero documented communication right after I documented my recent communication with ***.

- As documented, this was not unprecedented or out of the blue. Josh did hear from me several times as of recently, he just refused to listen or acknowledge me without trying to sell me into another expensive program first.

- The primary method of communication has been on Facebook messenger and via the Facebook support group. Access to both of these has been hindered as Josh has un-friended me on Facebook and kicked me out of the Facebook support group. Being shut out in this way has made it increasingly difficult to reach out in lieu of a problem, yet they still expected to hear from me this way.

- Keep in mind that I began in the Quantum program that had a completely different support inbox, so the attachment given did not include support emails sent for the other program.

- Seeking support does not always mean sending emails. Email support is treated as an absolute last resort within the program and Josh encourages everyone to watch the training and view FAQ files first and foremost. So, when I sought out support, this often meant watching hours of the provided instructional videos, reading FAQ documents, and implementing changes that way. These methods do not leave a trail like email and messages do, so just because there is not a trail of me seeking support and information AS DIRECTED, it does not mean I did not put in the effort.

Claim: We have dozens of success stories.

Answer: Many of the testimonials they refer to are biased, as success stories of people like *** and *** are employees of Josh and paid by him. This illicit bias is never acknowledged to new prospects. I mentioned this in my primary statement, and it was completely dropped in my previous response.

Claim: We want to know why this program did not deliver for ***.

Answer: This has been addressed several times throughout my statements. I often felt ignored when I did not get results from the program as many who complain are pushed off and even kicked out from resources.

Claim: We never gave a guarantee and have an earnings disclaimer.

Answer: Let me repeat this as this was entirely misread and my words were twisted unfairly. *** said at the bottom of the funnel that there is no guarantee, except for the 100% of people that 100% give the program their all. In short, it is not an absolute guarantee for everyone, but if you are intelligent and willing to work hard, you have nothing to worry about and can find success eventually.
I knew this was a no-refunds group and I still bought anyway because that is how much I believed in the company and had confidence in myself that I could do this.

I understand that it is not a magic pill or scheme that makes everyone a millionaire from the get go. But I clearly attempted and followed the steps, and as the company admits above, it is successful when executed properly. I still am confused as to why I have not landed a client even when I checked all the boxes, paid for all the expenses, and followed all the steps only to be dismissed.

As to the disclaimer they claim does not exist, I vividly remember reading this. The URL had the theme "Quit Your Day Job" tied into it. I would have saved or screenshotted it but at the time I had no reason to suspect I would have to revisit it later.

Claim: *** is on a mailing list and never unsubscribed, therefore it is justified to pitch her new products.

Answer: In the documentation attached, when Josh reached out via phone I was given no option for unsubscribing. The fact that Josh's team expects me to unsubscribe if I do not want the messages, yet does not give this as a viable option, is very frustrating and is one of many things that need to be addressed. Also, as stated before, the team prioritizes selling more products over helping their paying customers.

I also remind you of all the points made in my original complaint that were not responded to and still hold valid:

-Josh and his team encouraged me to go into further credit card debt to keeping paying for the program, and I was 19 years old at the time. I am still paying off debt for the program fee.

-Josh claimed false ownership and exclusivity to a program that was not his and his program is not a prerequisite to get the "exclusive" technology they claim to sell, see documentation. I even recently confirmed with Brent from In Market Targeting that this is still being addressed internally.

-Many of the testimonials they refer to are biased, details given above.

-Josh does not listen to a lot of struggling clients and encourages them to be silent rather than express concerns, as seen with past clients online I have talked to.

-This program failed to disclose the extra expenses associated with the program, including but not limited to $700+ per month in software subscriptions (500/month for In Market Targeting membership, 40 for Woodpecker, and 97-100 for funnel software).

-The main way of making money in the program involves violating LinkedIn terms of service, documentation attached. Clearly that is a very unsustainable and illegitimate business practice. Even after looking beyond this and implementing anyway, I was berated online for spamming other people with impersonal and repetitive marketing messages.

-There is an illusion of personal support when in reality these are webinar calls with dozens of other people, and can even be pre recorded. The support from Facebook and group calls also only lasts for a couple months and is taken away abruptly.

Harris Internet Response • May 06, 2020

See attached for the contract that *** signed & agreed too. She has also acknowledged in her false claims that she knows that we don't offer refunds, yet she's asking for one years later anyway out of nowhere? Whats really going on here?

Also, see the attachments taken from the online training program that shows *** has had access to the 2 programs she paid for & STILL DOES. Not only that, in the 2nd attachment you can see that she has logged in recently in the last couple days on the bottom right of the image.

This is an absolutely ridiculous claim. I have already tried reaching out to this women to discuss it with her specifically & she won't respond. Not to mention she has not been in contact with us about ANYTHING good or bad in 3 years. I proved that evidence in my initial response to her false claim with documentation of ALL interactions for proof to you.

The equivalent to this is me walking into a restaurant & having a meal. Then 3 years later complaining that the meal gave me food poisoning & asking for my money back with nothing ever being said in between.

This is the last response I am giving to this & I will no longer acknowledge this claim as it is completely inaccurate from start to finish.

Here is why I still stand by my complaint and firmly believe that it is valid among the company's responses.
- The restaurant analogy is inherently flawed. They are comparing a one-off business service to their company that claims to build a lifelong sustainable business that supports their clients for years to come, even to be recession proof and protect from layoffs. This is not what the restaurant business is built for, making this one of the many unfair metaphors they use to manipulate clients. To prove they have advertised the program to promote this long-term, ethical, and sustainable growth, an email from their marketing campaign is attached. This analogy is not an excuse for their repeated actions of abandoning clients who need their support after a very significant investment.
- As to their claim of asking "What is really going on here?" and thinking I have some sort of hidden agenda, I kindly remind you that all I am asking for is a full refund on the program I put so much time, money, and hard work into. There is no hidden agenda here as I have been upfront with this since the beginning. If they are alluding to the timing with COVID-19 and the economic consequences that are coming with it, this dispute was opened before cases of COVID-19 rapidly appeared in the US and long before mandatory closings and lockdowns happened. I opened up communication on this following Josh reaching out to me trying to sell me another program.
- My information on this entire case is not inaccurate like *** claims, which is why I have attached documentation to the extent that I have access to it. Some of this evidence is even from Josh's own courses and still accessible online today from a valid login. This is the only reason I had logged into the course recently as Josh stated in his last response. For all my claims not specifically documented verbatim, or from websites that are now taken down, I have documented it to the best of my ability and used solid logic, reason, and accounts of my personal experience with this company to further prove my case.
- To this day I have received absolutely NO texts, calls, voicemails, Facebook messages, LinkedIn messages, or emails from anyone on Josh H. team regarding this. Josh's team has all my contact information so it should not be difficult for them to contact me. Please note this regarding Josh claiming everything I say is completely inaccurate yet is doing just that when he declares to have falsely contacted "this women" about the program.
- I believed in this program and worked hard for three years, all while utilizing ***'s support and contacting him when I needed it. I firmly believe the system is broken, for the reasons I have previously mentioned, and all this led to me not finding success or even a return on investment. This entire thread alone should show how Josh chooses to support and respect his $8,000 paying customers.
- At this point all I am asking is for a refund on the program. If this can be fulfilled then this dispute will be immediately dropped and not brought up ever again.
