Additionally, the letter contains multiple falsehoods. I did send them pictures detailing the issues with the ring and I have the email to prove it. It is not unreasonable that I chose not to have a company that clearly produces substandard work do further work on my ring. Not only do I have picture evidence of the damage, I have another jewelers assessment of the crack under the mounting, which I would never have even known about if I had taken it back to Harris, as it required a microscope to see and clearly HArris jewelers was not going to announce such an error to me. I likely would only have found out about the extensiveness of the damage 10 years down the road when the ring fell apart and I had no recourse. Please contact me at your earliest convenience to discuss this matter.
