 Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because: Hacc's reply only goes to show that they think the many words they responded with will fool the Revdex.com just as they are attempting to fool their students . All other campus libraries are open Monday to Friday to ensure the students who attends success. Lebanon campus on the other hand is the only campus that is not accessible Monday to Friday, as per the dean of students they have closed it on Friday to and I quote " to save money" at the expense of the students who are not and have not been made whole for this effort by Hacc to save money at the students loss. It seems that Hacc couldn't give a st about the students need and is putting profit above the people who need and pay for these services , the students. This lack of accountability to their students by Hacc makes me question what else are they doing to their student and therefore have contacted the middle states for accreditation that oversees Hacc and their practices. I also have other students and also staff(teachers) at Hacc that are willing to participate to address profit above student practices. I am sure the state and federal agencies that faithfully serve the students financially  of this state would be very interested in taking a look at what lies under Hacc's rug also , since they are limiting services to their students and failing to recompense them, it only begs the question what else are they doing. I thank the Revdex.com for their dedication to consumers and for shedding light on the fraud that is embedded our culture.
Regards,

This student is responsible for a portion of his tuition and fees.  The Chapter 33 grant does not cover all his tuition and fees.  When a student has a past due balance, registration and transcript requests are denied.  The student is sent a series of letters and/or emails as...

notifications of past due amount.  After three attempts, the account is placed in collections and the credit bureau notified by the collection agency.  If paid, the status is updated at the credit bureau by the collection agency.  College policys were followed and not institutional error occurred.

Review: I am a student at Harrisburg area community college. During the summer term, I was taking an online class. I was wrongly dropped from the class by the instructor, who about a week later admitted fault citing a "technical" issue. She admitted me back into the class. I called the fiancial aid department to ensure I would not be double charged. when I did, I was forced to talk to a welcome center representative who said she was a fiancial aid team member, but could not answer any of my questions. This woman reassured me that I would not be charged for this mistake and if anything showed up in my student accounts, to ignore it, that it was an error that would be corrected. Satisfied with that answer I continued the class work, only to be charged 1,900 dollars I DON'T have. I am beyond tired of going to school at a place that does not care about the students, and thinks that this kind of customer care is acceptable. As of fall 2013 I am transferring due to this.Desired Settlement: I am asking the charged be dropped since they were UNFAIRLY charged, that is all.
