Review: I received a letter post marked from Canada on October 9, 2013. The return address was [redacted]. Upon opening it, Harrison Employment had a secret shopper job for me and included a check from [redacted] Company for $2,900.96. The job had nothing to do with [redacted]. The letter stated to deposit the check into my checking account for 24 hours, then Western Union $2,490.96 due to many complaints. This is a MAJOR SCAM! The contact for Harrison Employment is [redacted] at [redacted]. Though, my guess is [redacted] is as fake as the check sent to me. The website is too, a fake...www.[redacted].com. Look at the bottom of the web page, its missing privacy policy, terms, web provider, ect. I've currently signed up with Shadow Shopper looking for work. The terms under their employment is, Shadow Shopper sends a person a job 1st. You use your own cash at the location you're sent to and complete an evaluation. After the job is completed, mail the receipt and evaluation for payment from the company. As much I as I could use $2,900.96, this scam smells real fishy! I want to help stop this chaos from happening to others. I knew better than to deposit it. Instead, I contacted The Revdex.com and Western Union.Desired Settlement: N/A. No money lost. Review: I received a solicitation for "part time" work evaluating businesses. They sent a check in the amount of $2900 + drawn on State Farm Insurance. The letter stated for us to deposit the check, and evaluate Western Union sending $2390.00 through their system. $300 was supposed to be for my pay. I'm sure the check would have come back as bad, and I would have to "eat" the loss.Desired Settlement: No settlement needed, because I tore up the check. I just want to inform others not to fall for this trap. Because, the check looks legit.

Review: I signed up to be a mystery shopper. Harrison Employment sent me a check for $2800.10 with two assignments. I deposited the check into my account and proceeded with my first assignment which was to withdraw 2400 and purchase 3 green dot moneypak cards (two for $1000 and one for $400). I followed their instructions and received a call from my bank stating the check was being returned because it was a fraudulent check. Now I am out $2400 and would like to be reimbursed by this company. My contact was[redacted] at [redacted]. The email I was given is [redacted]Desired Settlement: I purchased 3 green dot moneypak cards one for $400 and two for $1000 each. After I completed the assignment today I received a call from my bank stating the check was being returned. This was after the check had cleared and was available in my checking account. I would like to be reimbursed for the $2400 because the bank is returning the full amount of $2800.10 that was deposited into my account.

Review: This company sent me a check with instructions to deposit it into my bank and then call for instructions on how to be a "secret shopper". I am now overdrawn by over $2,000 because the check was returned. I cannot afford such a loss. Please warn others not to be taken in by this scam. I withdrew the money to complete my "assignments" and now my finances are a mess. If it is possible to start legal action against these people, please tell me how to do so. Thank you in advance for your help.Desired Settlement: Return $2,269.31 plus any bank fees to me.

Review: This company is a scam. They offer home based jobs.The one I chose was Undercover Customer Service Evaluator.They gave me a check from Prudential to do my required assignments.After using $1606.08 of the $1956.08 my account became overdrawn because the check was counterfeit. I am out almost $2000. with NSF fees etc.Desired Settlement: Return of my money.$2000.00 will closely cover everything.
