Harrison Imports, L.C. Reviews (1)

The dealer did not include a wheel key lock required to operate the car. It was not disclosed prior to sale and they are refusing to amend the issue.
The company negligently did not disclose that the wheel lock key was not included with the vehicle prior to the sale. I was stripped of my right to negotiate a fair price for the vehicle based on the actual components the car included. If components are missing, it needs to be identified prior to sale by the dealer. Had I known the piece was missing prior to delivery (which should have been disclosed, not knowing is negligence on behalf of Harrison Imports), I would have lowered the price I paid for the vehicle to compensate for the additional expense. Had the issue been discovered on the road, I would have been in a dangerous situation because the vehicle was delivered incomplete. I believe as such it should be covered under the 3,000 mile "warranty" that Harrison claimed to provide. However, they are now refusing to honor their warranty claiming it "is a safe guard against major problems that can be very costly such a failing transmission or a blown engine. It is not in place to cover small components." This was not disclosed prior to purchase. Several times I have been told by the dealer that due to the increased price of shipping the dealership is unwilling to make good on their error. I want to point out that these are two separate issues. The additional shipping cost was due to the failure of shipping company chosen by the dealership to deliver within the agreed time frame. It was a cost incurred due to a mistake on Harrison's behalf, not mine. The wheel lock is mutually exclusive of the shipping and the way it has been handled is simply bad business. The vehicle, a 2010 Infiniti FX 35, was purchased on 12/10/2011 for $39,000 ($20,000 down via cashier check with $19,000 financed through Bellco Credit Union) including shipping to Denver but was not delivered until 12/21/2011. The issue was discovered on 12/22/2011. I have been in communication with the dealership and the representative who sold me the car, Rhett Yates. The dealership is unwilling to correct their mistake because they had to pay more for shipping due to another mistake on their part shipping the vehicle. The dispute is over $60.00 and ultimately is over the principle of ethical and legally sound business practices of which I believe they have neither. I would like Revdex.com to help resolve the issue and if nothing else have knowledge of the bad business practices taking place at a business in your state.
