This is in regards to Harrisonburg Nissan,I do not accept the dealerships response for several reasonsI would like to say I have never filed a complaint to Revdex.com for any reasonI am most frustrated with my experience because I was lied to on several occasionsI left several messages with the management at my original complaintThe salesman had informed the manager of the problem and I was told to contact ***Apparently *** knew I was calling to ask about a solution to the problem with my carSeveral messages were left and I never received a returned call to even tell him personally what my problem wasFinally I filed a complaint with Revdex.comI waited a few days and no responseAs you can tell from the date I posted the problem to the time he responded they are in no hurry as it took weeksFinally I showed up at the dealership which is one hour away to speak with *** was there and I spoke with him that day*** asked how they could make this situation rightHe proposed exchanging the car for a car of equal valueHe said to call him the following day at 2pm and he would let me know what they could doI called with no answer, I left messages, I spoke with a salesman and *** was present the day I called, he must have chosen not to answer or return my callA week passed and I had no responseI then called Ed Louis the owner who answered my call** said the first thing we need to do is have the car towed to Harrisonburg from Stuarts Draft in order to diagnose the problemI said I did not want to have the vehicle towed if they were not going to fix the issue.** said he would pay the tow bill which was $He also said he would pay the tow bill to have it brought back to Draft if neededHe said he would contact me to following day with a solutionThe next day I had the car towed to the dealershipI called service to inform them ** would be looking for this car to come inService informed me that he was there and looking at the car as we speakThis was at 10:30amI waited that day but never received a phone callThat was over a week ago and I have yet to speak to *** or **So weeks to respond to a Revdex.com complaint and another weeks with no response to me whatsoeverNow *** the salesman will not speak with me because im sure his boss has put the pressure on himMy complaint is, if the dealership was not going to do anything why didnt the management tell me from day they were not going to do anything? I would not be nearly as upset as I am nowWhen I confronted them in person they promised to make the problem right the following day, that was almost a month ago? Why would you tell a customer you will replace the car with a car of equal value if you never intended to do so? Why would you have a customer spend an additional $(that you said you would pay back) to have the car towed to there dealership to say that you bought the car AS IS? I have been lied to over and over again and that is why I will continue to pursue this issueIts not about the car as much as people who lie to customers, mislead them, and steal $should be held accountableI encourage the Revdex.com to do an anonymous survey of the employees regarding their managementI have no doubt they would overwhelmingly agree and *** has some integrity issues which concerns me not only for future customers but also for Harrisonburg NissanI do not appreciate being lied to and cheated out of moneyAlso the salesman is aware of all of the statements made by both ** and ***If his job was not on the line, im sure he would have no problem telling the Revdex.com of my experienceThanks!

Jesus Saves, Thats How I Roll~~

I have reviewed the response offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID *** and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
Again, there were issues that were promised by the salesman *** *** to have been repaired and it was understood by both parties that the purchase would not be completed until those repairs were professional made and verified correct Thus the difference in the price of what was first negotiated from $5,to the sale price of $5, I could only go on their word that such was done as the invoice of the work they passed to me was obviously fabricated by some other local shop then their own, and only after I had signed all of the documents rushed in front of me by their purchasing closer My argument still remains that what they did in attempt to make those repairs was done in a completely unethical and unprofessional manner and was not even performed by their own shop but some private shop which I later learned was someone that *** throws business, a friend, an acquaintance, etc
Again the discounted (?) price (which was considerably over Blue Book value) was $more than negotiated as *** said it would cost him that much to make the necessary repairs which I demanded
Yes I bought AS IS with their word that the repairs were properly done Only to find those (supposed) repairs, as well as numerous others needing done, returned days after the car was pulled off the lot
Obvious signs that the only repair made was that the diagnostic repair codes had simply been cleared from the memory of the vehicle to have them return after several vehicle starting cycles YES I BLAME THE DEALER UNLESS THEY CAN SHOW OTHERWISE THAT THE REPAIRS WERE MADE CORRECTLY PROPERLY AND PROFESSIONALLY! The only thing I blame myself for is in choosing to do business with your establishment in the first place
I have never made threatening call nor have I made any falsified statements and resent Mr***'s accusations and would appreciate an apology for this fabrication of his imagination It was required of me to be persistent as Mr*** refused to make contact with me for numerous days and only after I left messages to talk to the Company owner did he even communicate to me at all In our final phone conversation Mr*** actually hung up on me and was very un-professional in his dealing with me I made several phone calls, sent several emails, and several faxes only demanding that the repairs that were promised were in fact repaired professionally as was everyone's understanding (including ***) I did tell Mr*** and *** that I would notify the Revdex.com, but I did in fact carry this out which is proof by this correspondence, and thus is not a threat but an action on my part.
As far as being in business for years I can only say is ..."that is past performance" and if present handling of complaints of mine and other customers by management is any indication of the way business is NOW being handled , that you can rest assured you will not be in business for another years
It is sad indeed that it has come to this as all I asked for was to have corrected Professionally and properly what was promised me and what I paid the additional $for That is the simple stated and fact of the matter
If Mr*** considers any of this bullying tactics or coercion to simply get what was promised to me and would have been delivered by a truly professional automobile dealer, than shame on him I am sure he would demand the same for himself!
I stick by my demands to repair the the items as promised or refund me the $that I paid to have them corrected!

Repair Issues were promised by salesman *** *** to be repaired:
ABS Light ON and indicating needed repair
Check Engine Light ON and indicating needed repair
Brakes chattering and causing front in shake when braking from higher speeds ie...Highway Exit Ramps, etc
In verbal negotiation I expressed that the price was between $to $high but I agreed to the $price (vs $price) only because needed repairs were to be corrected
In verbal negotiation it was also brought to salesman's attention that the tires needed to be replaced but I again could handle taking care of that if the above repairs were taken care of by DEALERSHIP and I would not have to incur costs for those repairs
Upon return to purchase vehicle ALL Warning Lights apparently had been cleared ABS Light returned the next day after purchase and within weeks of purchase Check Engine Light has re-appeared as well
This is a STRONG indication that Warning Lights had only been cleared an actual repairs were not made
In discussion with *** ***, after numerous un-answered calls and messages, he asked for me to bring the car by the Dealership Service Center and they would take care of what was promised
I took the car to the Dealership where is sat for almost a week and Mr*** indicated they had changed there mind and would not be making the repairs

Review: Purchase of a 2003 Isuzu Rodeo 3/8/2014. After doing an initial Test Drive their Salesman [redacted] agreed to make a repair on whatever was causing the ABS Warning Light to be on as I told him I would not make the transaction without that and several other concerns I had corrected. Supposedly after repairs were made, I returned and did a test drive and the warning light was off. I then completed the deal only to find the ABS light return within 2 days and been on since. After speaking with [redacted] I returned the care to Harrisonburg (on Sunday 3/23/14) as he agreed to make the repair. Only to be called the next day after drop off (afternoon of 3/24/14) to be told they changed their mind and refused to make the repair. They keep asserting that I bought it AS IS which is correct but AS IS with the understanding that agreed upon repairs were made!! Concerned that the ABS Warning light is a safety issue and should not have even passed a recent inspection (Dec. 2013). With that concern comes the fact that the set of tires sold on the vehicle should not have passed either yet somehow they did??? Questionable Inspections. Not to mention the service work and the inspection did not even take place at their own facility? And on top of all that a leaking Fuel Pressure Regulator lines spewing gas out (causing strong and sickening gas smells)..PLEASE HELP. Sold AS IS yes but are these not safety issues that any respectable auto sales dealer should have addressed before an attempt is made to correct them? Especially when they are brought to the dealers attention and were obligated to be repaired before the transaction!Desired Settlement: Repair ABS Warning light issue which was a verbally committed repair by them on 2 different occasions, by the Salesman and then by the ** after the fact. As a courtesy and because of there unprofessional and lack of response and aggravation on my part - repair gas leaks which are a safety issue and replace 4 tires which should have never passed inspection which was recent on the vehicle with minimal put on them since.

I have reviewed the response offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

In verbal negotiation it was also brought to salesman's attention that the tires needed to be replaced but I again could handle taking care of that if the above repairs were taken care of by DEALERSHIP and I would not have to incur costs for those repairs.

Upon return to purchase vehicle ALL Warning Lights apparently had been cleared. ABS Light returned the next day after purchase and within 2 weeks of purchase Check Engine Light has re-appeared as well.

Review: I bought a used vehicle from Harrisonburg Nissan. I do not have a warranty and I understood that when I purchased the car. But when I drove the vehicle home it would not start the following day. Since that day I have had trouble with the car. I bought the car less than 2 months ago and have put only around 500 miles on the car. The engine has blown in the car and either has to be replaced or overhauled. I have called to speak with management ([redacted]) several times. My intention was to simply express my complaint and hopefully work out some type of agreement. This is a large dealership who I would have thought would take pride in their name and integrity. The only contact I was able to get was through the salesman who has no authority to authorize any assistance. I have left several messages with management and even had other employees personally ask management ([redacted]) to call with No Response. All the while my vehicle is in a repair shop taking up their space. The last message I left (2 days ago) I was told [redacted] was working and should return my call, I have yet to get a response.Desired Settlement: $2900 towards vehicle on their lot.

I have reviewed the response offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

This is in regards to Harrisonburg Nissan,. I do not accept the dealerships response for several reasons. I would like to say I have never filed a complaint to Revdex.com for any reason. I am most frustrated with my experience because I was lied to on several occasions. I left several messages with the management at my original complaint. The salesman had informed the manager of the problem and I was told to contact [redacted]. Apparently [redacted] knew I was calling to ask about a solution to the problem with my car. Several messages were left and I never received a returned call to even tell him personally what my problem was. Finally I filed a complaint with Revdex.com. I waited a few days and no response. As you can tell from the date I posted the problem to the time he responded they are in no hurry as it took weeks. Finally I showed up at the dealership which is one hour away to speak with [redacted] was there and I spoke with him that day. [redacted] asked how they could make this situation right. He proposed exchanging the car for a car of equal value. He said to call him the following day at 2pm and he would let me know what they could do. I called with no answer, I left messages, I spoke with a salesman and [redacted] was present the day I called, he must have chosen not to answer or return my call. A week passed and I had no response. I then called Ed Louis the owner who answered my call. ** said the first thing we need to do is have the car towed to Harrisonburg from Stuarts Draft in order to diagnose the problem. I said I did not want to have the vehicle towed if they were not going to fix the issue.** said he would pay the tow bill which was $130. He also said he would pay the tow bill to have it brought back to Draft if needed. He said he would contact me to following day with a solution. The next day I had the car towed to the dealership. I called service to inform them ** would be looking for this car to come in. Service informed me that he was there and looking at the car as we speak. This was at 10:30am. I waited that day but never received a phone call. That was over a week ago and I have yet to speak to [redacted] or **. So 2 weeks to respond to a Revdex.com complaint and another 2 weeks with no response to me whatsoever. Now [redacted] the salesman will not speak with me because im sure his boss has put the pressure on him. My complaint is, if the dealership was not going to do anything why didnt the management tell me from day 1 they were not going to do anything? I would not be nearly as upset as I am now. When I confronted them in person they promised to make the problem right the following day, that was almost a month ago? Why would you have a customer spend an additional $130 (that you said you would pay back) to have the car towed to there dealership to say that you bought the car AS IS? I have been lied to over and over again and that is why I will continue to pursue this issue. Its not about the car as much as people who lie to customers, mislead them, and steal $130 should be held accountable. I encourage the Revdex.com to do an anonymous survey of the employees regarding their management. I have no doubt they would overwhelmingly agree and [redacted] has some integrity issues which concerns me not only for future customers but also for Harrisonburg Nissan. I do not appreciate being lied to and cheated out of money. Also the salesman is aware of all of the statements made by both ** and [redacted]. If his job was not on the line, im sure he would have no problem telling the Revdex.com of my experience. Thanks!
