Harry Hines Bazaar

I have been a small business owner within the Harry Hines Bazaar for more than 20 years. Throughout this time, the A/C has never worked during the summer time, nor has the heater during the winter. The area affected by this is the back part of the bazaar (side closest to Denton Rd). I along many other business owners have written letters and personally reached out to the owners of the building expressing the health concern and discomfort this causes, yet they have done nothing about it. We have to place fans around our business to make our time there somewhat bearable, however it hardly helps. As a person who suffered a stroke, this further adds to my already pre-existing discomforts and have seen people pass out, which has required ambulatory intervention. People's health should not be put at risk, while the owners enjoy of a well conditioned office.

My small business is located inside the Harry Hines Bazaar. My store is located in the back of the bazaar (closest to the Denton Rd side), and during the wintertime, it's always as cold as it is outside. Every time I bring it up to the manager or owners (in writing and in-person)that we need the heater on, they say it's broken and it'll be fixed soon, but it has not happened since 2001. I would like this fixed because being it cold for almost 10 hours for 4 days has negatively affected my health and my family's health.
