I was having a number of issues with the transmission in my classic 1960's muscle car and was referred by two local auto enthusiasts to Wayne at Gene's Transmission located off Virginia Beach Boulevard. Wayne took the time to listen to my description of the problems and provided recommendations on how I might affect potential temporary improvements without the need for an expensive transmission rebuild. As interim inexpensive measures,these suggestions proved helpful. Eventually I decide to have the transmission (a Ford C6 3-speed automatic unit) rebuilt. Again, Wayne advised on a recommended way forward and ultimately delivered a completely overhauled transmission on time and at the quoted (and very competitive) price. The unit performs flawlessly and the improvement in the vehicles performance is enormous I literally can't stop grinning every time I take the car out.

I would file a complaint but gave the car to my son which he sold for junk because the transmission that Walter, the owner of Gene Transmission put in my 2000 Lexus was a piece of junk. I don't know what he put in the car because I kept having recurring problems that I did not know were due to the piece of junk he put in the car. I took the car to the Lexus Dealer and was told I needed a new transmission. I told them that I had the transmission replaced in Jul 2015 by Gene transmission. They said I was taken. Too late to file a claim because Gene only gave a 6 month warranty, I should have ran when he only guaranteed his work for 6 months.
I hope the company did not do me wrong because I 'm a female.
again, I had to junk the car because I did not have the money for another transmission or my son had the money for a car that I gave to him after I had the transmission replaced.
