I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
RESPONSE; OUR COMPLAINT IS STILL AGAINST HARRY'S GARAGE DOORS. AFTER OUR LAST PHONE CALL WHICH HE TOLD US TO CALL CLOPAY AND HUNG UP. WE DID, AND THEY SAID FROM THE S/N THAT WAS ON THE DOOR IT WAS SENT TO A [redacted] OR [redacted] DEALER BUT THEY SENT REPLACEMENT CABLES. HARRY COULD HAVE BEEN HONEST TO START WITH AND NOT STRUNG US ALONG FOR 4 MONTHS WITH PROMISES OF COMMING OUT TO FIX THE PROBLEM. MY MESSAGE IS GET IT IN WRITTING IF YOU ARE GOING TO BUY FROM HARRY.[redacted]

Review: Harry M[redacted] supplied and installed a new Clopay garage door for us on 3/11/2014 for $1330.00. On April 29 2015 I called him to tell him the spring lift cables were frayed and needed to be replaced. He said he would be in the neighborhood next week and would take care of it. He did not show, I called and left a message on 5/15/15 and 5/22/15. on 2/29 15 I called on his emergency number [ his cell phone] and talked to him, He said He would try to make it over that pm - no show. Called again 6/24/15 He said He didn't forget us-but no show. Phoned again on 8/11/15 He said He would try to make it that pm. no show.Desired Settlement: Refund my $1330.00 so I can get a reputable company to install a good door.

ATTENTION: [redacted] COMPLAINT ID: [redacted]The warranty included with the door is from Clopay and does not represent Harry’s Garage Doors. Note that complaint is one year after installation. After talking to the customer on several occasions, he told me that his neighbor’s cables were fraying in the same place. I advised him to contact Clopay that this was a manufacturing issue, not a problem with the installation.___________________________________________________________________...⇄ will also note that the Clopay Limited Warranty that the gentleman included in his document states the following that Clopay will at its discretion provide replacement parts but not the labor to install the product.
