I hired this company to perform landscape grading and lawn installation services in late August. Seeding was supposed to occur in September during optimal growing conditions. Instead, seeding was not completed for 5 weeks and occurred in mid October. The grading work did turn out well. However, with respect to the lawn installation, the company seeded the day of a wind and rain storm. Most of the seed and all of the loose hay covering blew away within 24 hours. At least half of the seed was either washed away or failed to germinate, leaving large areas of our yard with no grass and the areas that did germinate were very spotty. Approximately 50% of our yard failed to germinate. Despite guaranteeing a lawn, the company failed to return calls and messages after payment was received. The company has made no attempt to repair or reperform any of the seeding work. As a result, I have had to hire another landscaper to repair and complete the work that this company guaranteed and warranted it would do.
