I am more than glad to address these issuesI take great pride in the reputation of my business that I have run since I have done thousands of repairs and never been accused of misplacing or switching an itemAll I have to go on in this case is the take in picture of the chain you dropped
offThe picture shows multiple solders on the chainThose solders are the same as the chain you picked upThe chain when dropped off was logged in a picture was takenThe chain then went into the safe in a sealed zip bag until I personally repaired it, cleaned it called you to say it was done and locked it in a safe in the same zip bagWhen you came in to pay for it I handed it to you and there was no question then that the chain was differentThe next day you came in hysterical accusing me of switching the chainYou told me that it was your grandfathers and it was sentimentalI told you I would look into it and double check to make sure there was no mistakeI looked at my log of when your repair was done and found only one other chain that was the same styleI called the customer *** *** and confirmed with her that she had the right chainher chain was inches long not The last time I talked to you I told you what my research found and you did not agreeYour story changed and you said that you had recently purchased the chain and you had a receiptI asked you to bring it in so I could compare it with what you picked upThe next thing I received a call from one of my customers saying that you were slandering me and harts Jewelers on *** ***I am enclosing copies of the chain you left, and other supporting documentsI am willing to continue to discuss this to try to resolve your complaintI look forward to see any supporting documents or pictures that might have to support your claimI also would hope that you would stop slandering my reputation while we work towards a settlement
I see nothing in your response to support your claimI am 100% sure that we returned the same chain you brought inI have asked several times for you to produce a receipt for the chain you claim to have brought in so I can compare it to the picture I haveI would like to resolve this but see no way to convince you that we returned the same chain you brought inI am willing to have an independent arbitrator look over the facts and decide this claimI am enclosing another picture( at actual size)This picture shows the clasp and the solder marks
