Review: My name is [redacted]. I am a state employee for [redacted] Health. I carry my family's health insurance thus [redacted] (my husband) is on my policy and we are required to fulfill the HEP requirements. I have been a nurse for 22 years and I know how important preventative care is. As state employees and their dependents we are required to fulfill the HEP requirementsOn Dec 30, 2014 my husband had a preventative care visit as required by HEP at Hartford Healthcare Medical Group at [redacted] Phone:[redacted] Fax:[redacted]. February 2015 of this year, we received a bill from Hartford Hospital Medical Group stating we have to pay $260 because of [redacted] (my insurance) refusal/rejection of the bill. [redacted] refused to pay for such visit claiming it was billed incorrectly.) I called the number from the [redacted] and I was told they would check up on it. I thought all along after this incident that it was resolved then on July 9, 2015 we again received a bill from [redacted].. I have called them again and they said I have to call the [redacted] Office to tell them that they billed incorrectly and make sure there is a doctors name!!!!!!! I thought this is absolutely ridiculous when I dont do the billing. If they knew what the problem was why they cant handle this internally. I have to call the office in [redacted] to fix the problem? Well, dont they belong to the same company? In any case I called the [redacted] Office billing and I was on hold for hours..... I mean I you can wait for the whole day...the other option was to leave a message and they would call back, but they never did. Pls dont tell me that this is an urgent care visit because we made the appointment weeks before.Desired Settlement: 1. Bill our health insurance correctly so you can get paid.
