I have bought the garage door repair service from this garage door repair company 2 years ago and spent more than 1000 dollar to only install the new rollers and new springs on 2 of my garage doors. But recently, the one side of the spring hook pop out from the hinge and the door can not open. I have called the company to request them to come to repair it. They wanted to charge $89.99 for just come to look at it and give out a quote for repair.
I do not think this is a fair charge since this problem may due to the bad installation that they have done in the first place. I have lived in this house more than 15 years, and just have the repair after 13 years in the house, which was two years ago with this company. I do not believe that the garage door spring pop off from the hinge so frequent if it was installed right. I had explained my situation to the representative of the company, but she would not accept my complaint and insisted me to pay the fee before sending their worker to fix my garage door.
As the weather gets colder, it becomes much more inconvenient for us to have the garage door not function. In fact, I got sick since I have to go out to drive my cold car every morning to go work. I felt that the representative was taking advantage on the situation that I have and not cooperating.
