Hartje Farm, Home & Sports Reviews (2)

I went to Hartje's to have the summer tires I purchased there taken off my van and the winter tires I bought there last year put on my vanI have not had any problems with my vehicle until they switched the tires There is a TPMS (tire pressure maintenance sensor) warning light on the dash which I had never seen lit until they changed the tires over I got in my car once the tires were changed and drove off About miles down the road the TPMS warning light comes on I go back to Hartje's and tell them about it The mechanic took the van into the garage, came out and said the sensor was broke I told them it was fine when I brought it in, they broke it, they need to fix it They replaced the sensor and I left Again I got another 10-miles down the road and it lit up again Tried to call them but they were already closed First thing in the morning I drove back to Hartje's and spoke with the owner to explain what happened She tried to tell me that things break, her employees did not do anything wrong but they would check it I said fine An hour later they came out and told me it was fixed I drove off and again several miles down the road the TPMS light came on Drove back to Hartje's (third trip) and ask if they would like to try again Connie tried to give me excuses and I was so mad I simply said, "it worked fine till you changed the tires, you did something wrong, you fix it" A short time later Connie came over to me and said, "we replaced of the sensors and we will not replace any more." She handed me a receipt and I left Several miles down the road the light came on again I did call the service department at the Honda dealer and ask him about it and he said in years he has never heard of all sensors going bad at the same time All this told me was that Hartje's was doing something wrong, or not doing something they should be doing which caused this problem They are not going to do anything else to solve this problem I am taking my van to the Honda dealer in the morning

I went to Hartje's to have the summer tires I purchased there taken off my van and the winter tires I bought there last year put on my van. I have not had any problems with my vehicle until they switched the tires. There is a TPMS (tire pressure maintenance sensor) warning light on the dash which I had never seen lit until they changed the tires over. I got in my car once the tires were changed and drove off. About 10 miles down the road the TPMS warning light comes on. I go back to Hartje's and tell them about it. The mechanic took the van into the garage, came out and said the sensor was broke. I told them it was fine when I brought it in, they broke it, they need to fix it. They replaced the sensor and I left. Again I got another 10-12 miles down the road and it lit up again. Tried to call them but they were already closed. First thing in the morning I drove back to Hartje's and spoke with the owner to explain what happened. She tried to tell me that things break, her employees did not do anything wrong but they would check it. I said fine. An hour later they came out and told me it was fixed. I drove off and again several miles down the road the TPMS light came on. Drove back to Hartje's (third trip) and ask if they would like to try again. Connie tried to give me excuses and I was so mad I simply said, "it worked fine till you changed the tires, you did something wrong, you fix it". A short time later Connie came over to me and said, "we replaced 2 of the sensors and we will not replace any more." She handed me a receipt and I left. Several miles down the road the light came on again. I did call the service department at the Honda dealer and ask him about it and he said in 28 years he has never heard of all 4 sensors going bad at the same time. All this told me was that Hartje's was doing something wrong, or not doing something they should be doing which caused this problem. They are not going to do anything else to solve this problem. I am taking my van to the Honda dealer in the morning.
