I am rejecting this response because: again these are all lies The swollen area was under the scarfYou have never put a scarf on my dog always bows in her earsThe vet said it was not from the bandana or a spider bit most likely hot clippers Her neck was swollen from when I picked her up and it lasted about days till the medicine started working Also you were not the last person to handle my dog and you most definitely did not hand her to meI didn't even see you when I picked her up If you read almost half of your yelp reviews they are all saying the same thing I amYou have done this and similar things to other pets and have denied and lied and never once tried to make it rightYou were very rude to me and your establishment is not that clean as you statedWhen I first contacted you all I asked for was the groom money back since I had to pay for vet bills and medicine from what you did to herI asked you to let me bring her in to show you and you refused and just kept saying your groomers don't make mistakesAll you offered me is a free groom but I WOULD never take my dog back to someplace that can do things like this and can't even own up to it Read all the yelp reviewsYou have the same pattern of wrong doing to animals and denying it and lying about itNow I am asking for my groom money back and the vet bill of $ I have attached the copy of the vet bill

I am rejecting this response because: again these are all lies.  The swollen area was under the scarf. You have never put a scarf on my dog always bows in her ears. The vet said it was not from the bandana or a spider bit most likely hot clippers.  Her neck was swollen from when I picked her up and it lasted about 3 days till the medicine started working.  Also you were not the last person to handle my dog and you most definitely did not hand her to me. I didn't even see you when I picked her up.  If you read almost half of your yelp reviews they are all saying the same thing I am. You have done this and similar things to other pets and have denied and lied and never once tried to make it right. You were very rude to me and your establishment is not that clean as you stated. When I first contacted you all I asked for was the groom money back since I had to pay for vet bills and medicine from what you did to her. I asked you to let me bring her in to show you and you refused and just kept saying your groomers don't make mistakes. All you offered me is a free groom but I WOULD never take my dog back to someplace that can do things like this and can't even own up to it.  Read all the yelp reviews. You have the same pattern of wrong doing to animals and denying it and lying about it. Now I am asking for my groom money back and the vet bill of $105.00.  I have attached the copy of the vet bill.

First of all, I want to thank [redacted] for loving her dog so much.Second: I would assume that her dogs next didn’t stay swollen. If, as she wants to blame us, it was from a hot clipper blade which it couldn’t have been from. A razer burn turns skin red, like a sunburn. This is because it is, in fact, a burn. Burns don’t swell up without turning red, and staying red until the skin gets well and sheds like a sunburn. Burns kill skin cells, dead skin cells shed off after being inflamed. This does not sound like what happened to her dog. Third: there was no cut. The Vet would have seen a cut. Now that could have made the skin swell. Fourth: a swelling may have been caused by an allergy to something, but, again, we have no idea what.if you look at the pictures the swelling is above the scarf line. The picture shows the area of the neck that would be between the scarf and the jaw. So we did not put the scarf on to hide the swelling. We didn’t see the swelling. After looking at the pictures closely I am even more adamant that we did nothing wrong. The scarf didn’t cover the swell, and we didn’t see the swell or we would have pointed it out to the owner. We are all about the dog here and we would ALWAYS tell the owner if we found fleas, ticks, scratches, owies, swollen things, red peepee areas, whatever we see… we tell the owner so they can be aware of the issue. If we cause an issue we tell them that too. I have nothing to hide and it is all about the wellbeing of the dog. Always has been…. Always will be. So I am glad she saw the swelling. I am glad she took her baby to the vet…. A lot of owners don’t….My groomer used a Wahl cordless 5 in 1 clipper on the dogs face. It was a poodle face. That is always done with a 5 in 1. That particular clipper is advertised, and it is true, as Perfect for surgical cut blade and always runs cool. So, again, I am correct, and professional that the blade DID NOT get hot. There was no razer burn. This particular grooming tool ALWAYS runs cool.We hardly ever put bows on. Actually only one or two of us know how to put bows on. We tend to put them on by request. Interestingly bows cost way more than scarves do. We have to have the time to put the bows in. In this groom house it isn’t bows for girls and scarves for boys. We do have boy material and girl material for scarves and bows by request or if one of our girls feel like putting the bows in. This issue was in full view above the scarf. I don’t handle any complaint with excuses or lies. I know I can’t please everyone. We try to be the cleanest shop in town and I have told we are on many occasions. We wash the kennel bedding every single day. We sterilize the floors and tables, and kennels 2 to 3 times a day. We sterilize the water dishes and bleach the towels. Nobody works at keeping their shop clean like I do. I don’t make excuses, and I have no reason to lie, but I won’t pay for Vet bills that we didn’t cause. I offered [redacted] a free grooming next time she comes in, and I believe that was generous offer. She turned me down, said she would never come back. I can’t please her, we didn’t cause the neck issue, and don’t know what to do to help her. As I said before I am sure it isn’t swollen anymore. Whatever it was we will never know. I am the owner and I was the last person to handle her dog from this shop, it was not bleeding anywhere, it wasn’t swollen anywhere, and the dog was happy to see her owner, which is normal. There was nothing out of the ordinary. It wasn’t upset in the kennel just excited and happy to see her owner. There are actually 2 business license for this shop and they get them mixed up every year. What does she want? Her money back? We did not cause the swelling on the neck, but the dog looked and smelled real pretty when she left here. We did not cause her a vet bill, assuming there is one. It was her decision to take the dog to the vet. And, I stand by my first response. We would never… ever hurt her dog and not tell her. That’s not who I am. The clippers and shears can cut, causing bleeding, and the dog wasn’t cut or bleeding…. But not swelling…. The clippers were not hot and the dog did not have razer burn when it left. If it had been allergic to the shampoo, it would have showed before it got its haircut…. The owner would not bring the dog in to show me and she would not take the free grooming I offered her.The dog could have gotten bitten by a spider, that would swell it up, or gotten near a bush or grass that it was allergic too. It could have eaten something, that’s what the vet I asked told, and we don’t feed any food to our 4 legged clients. We didn’t cover anything up with a scarf, we put scarfs on most of our beautiful clients when they leave. I don’t know what happened to her pet. She wanted me to refund her money, but yet she couldn’t find anything we did to cause the swelling. The Vet couldn’t tell her what had cause it either. Hot blades cause a redness, like a diaper rash… easily taken care of…. But not swelling. And the blades were NOT hot. We all have multiple blades and change them often. Everyone is guessing what happened. I was the last person to handle the dog here, when I handed it over to her. The neck was not swollen at all, and it was quite pretty.
