While the work itself is quality, the customer service is anything but.
We spent several thousands of dollars on new door and shutters. I talked with the owner multiple times before the job was done and told him I wanted everything cream, except the shutters, which were to be green. We went over the colors at least 3 or 4 times. When the work was done, I was a bit surprised to see the capping was white and only the doors were cream. I looked at the contract where he wrote "white capping." I thought to myself "I guess it doesn't come in cream."
When I called him to ask him if it was paintable, he asked why I didn't order it in cream to begin with. When I said I did, he told me I was wrong, I never asked for cream. No apology, nothing. Just that I was wrong. He also said it was my fault and my problem, and that I would have to pay to have new capping put on or paint it myself (or pay a painter to do it). Then he went on to say he assumed I wanted white because the old capping was white. Mind you, the old doors were white too, but I was changing them to cream. I asked him to pay for a painter and I would buy the paint. He refused. I guess he figures he got paid so there is no reason to correct his mistake.
Apparently he is not concerned with making the customer happy. For that reason, I would not refer anybody to him.
