Re: Complaint ID# *** This customer noted a chip in her marble top greater than years after install (that's as far back as I searched). I had phone exchanges with the customer. Her complaint noted she was calling "all summer with no response." This was not the
case. In addition, I did not, "promise to stop by on a particular date." There was no appointment made with her. I have been installing marble tops since my business opened in 1990. This is my first issue with a customer needing assist to mend a chip. In one of our first conversations, I gave the customer the name of the company that manufactured the sink as I do not service marble tops. The customer then contacted the sink company and was given a price to which she was not comfortable paying. I believe the repair should be done by a professional from the sink manufacturer as I have no experience with this. Had the top been installed with a defect, I would most certainly correct that. I am rejecting this response because: I disagree with the comments made in the business response by MrHartmanI have stated those differences in the attachmentI believe this business was for some unknown reason unable to be honest with me about what it would, or could not doHad they told me months ago that they could not do the repair I would have taken different actionHe wasted my time and caused us both a lot of unnecessary frustration!
