of my kids were stranded with a boat and trailer they were unable to drive home...the insurance company contacted the company for a tow at 730pm...at 806pm we were told it would be about a minute wait...they did not arrive on scene until 952pm with no communication from their end as to why the long delay...when they arrived they were almost out of gas and told my kids he would have to stop for gas before continuing...the amount of time this took...the lack of communication...and the lack of proper business professionalism and readiness to help is unacceptable in my eyes...they will never be recommended by me and I will deny any further services from them after tonight
I took my truck to this shop for a new fuel pumpThey charged me a full day of labor plus parts, and ended up installing the wrong pumpThey installed the correct pump on the second day, however they charged me for labor that day tooI should only have had to pay once
The customer stated that our signs were not visible, but there are 24xinch signs with our fees posted at every entranceAttached are photos of each sign at each entranceOur ticket states a $charge for an accident rate, but it is a $charge for illegally parked carsThis $charge
along with the $storage charge per day is stated on our signsThe upcharge is due to the greater difficulty of the tow and payment to our driversWhen picking up an illegally parked car the tow truck driver must load the car without keysWhen a car does not have keys it will not roll, therefore making it more difficult and putting more wear and tear on our trucksThis causes our drivers to spend more time loading the immobile vehicle manually without causing any damage to the vehicleIn regards to her statements about how much we pay our employees, the whole process of an illegally parked car can take up to three hoursAfter the car is loaded it must then be brought to the police department in order for it to be registeredThis can take up to two hours, and during that time our drivers are not able to go on other callsWe make our customers pay in cash, because we have had previous customers cancel payments on checks and cardsThis is simply a precautionary measure for our company, and most other businesses require cash only because of the problem stated previouslyOur storage fee are based from AM to PMWhen her car was dropped of at 10:a $storage charge was applied because that is counted as a daySince the customers did not pick it up until the following day that counted as a second dayShe was charged $for 4/17/when the car was dropped off and then $for 4/18/the day in which the vehicle was picked upHartmann’s Auto Center Incdoes not pick up illegally parked cars until the manager contacts usThe location that the car was towed from is near Busch Stadium, and the customers admitted to being at the gameOften times people will park at this business, because it is closer to the stadium and it does not costThe business does not allow non customers to park in their lotDue to being close to Busch Stadium, and no cost it is common for multiple vehicles to be illegally parked and towed from that location in one nightHartmann’s Auto Center Incregrets the issue at hand, however this has been the first misunderstanding we have ever encountered from an illegally parked carIf you should have any questions regarding this matter feel free to contact *** ***, owner, at ***Thank you, *** *** Owner

I am rejecting this response because:They towed cars that night, so I do not believe the sign was visible on this occasion, early in the season They can show a picture of a posted sign, but it was not visible on that evening I still dispute the up charge on the tow When I called the Police station, I was told it is simply filing paperwork, and I don't believe it is worth an extra $200, and the illegal tow rate is not listed on the paperwork, only the $tow price Since they are not open and available at 10:p.min the evening to pick up the towed car, the hour time for storage should begin when the car hits the lot We picked it up well within hours and were told the price would increase if not picked up by 4:p.mon 4/18/ How does that fit in the the hour time listed in their response I still believe I was over charge for tow and storage
