I received an unsolicited call from a "Tom R[redacted]" to try to get me to purchase a total vegetation killer called TVK #10 that he claims kills everything for 6 years. When I would not give him my credit card information, he cussed me out and hung up. I do not immediately purchase something over the phone without checking out the product and the company. This justified my actions. I don't know about the product, but they sure seem shady to me. I would advise everyone to stay away!

Review: This man called me on the phone and said he was [redacted] with Harvest Farm Supply in [redacted], New York. He has called me a few times in the past. He tried to sell me a 55 gallon drum of herbicide for killing weeds. I told him I didn't need that big amount. Then we got disconnected or he hung up on me. [redacted] called back later and said he can sell me a gallon. I preceded to order a gallon of herbicide from him. I gave him my credit card number and my address to ship the chemicals to me. [redacted] also asked me if I would do him a favor and spread the word to my friends if he sent me some business cards. His phone number on my caller ID was ###-###-####. I called it and got an answering machine. So I started searching for this company on the internet. I couldn't find it. I only found Harvest Supply. I called the Harvest Supply phone numbers listed on the internet. The numbers were not in service. I searched the phone number that was on my caller ID and saw several scam comments about this [redacted] and him trying to sell herbicide to others. I believe he got my name and phone number out of the Market Bulletin.Desired Settlement: I would like my 99.00 refunded.

Review: We received an unexpected shipment on 12/**/14 with no invoice or packing order and had opened thinking it was tractor parts. We have not used this company in over 10 yrs due to poor products, service and harassment from them. After calling company thinking order was their mistngake found out they had charged my credit card $297.00 without my authorization and permission. THis began with us calling on 12/**/14 and leaving message returned by [redacted] who blamed us for order at first which was in no way true. Daily phone calls to them began wanting them to contact [redacted] to have item picked up for return and to reverse credit card charges. Finally on Jan. **, 2015 item was picked up by [redacted] and Harvest Supply received on Jan **, 2015 as posted by [redacted] tracking order. Calls were continued made by us to company for credit card reversal of charges with no help by them, only "we'll get to it and sent money order to cover charges". No reimbursement was sent even after weekly calls and messages and no card reversing of charges. Next talked to [redacted] and then [redacted] of company who said knew nothing regarding this and had to explain entire story to them with them saying they'd look into it. Nothing has been resolved until we stated that this was credit card fraud. They each even denied knowing each other due to # of employees. Yesterday a man identifying himself as [redacted] but who I had talked to earlier as stating he was [redacted] informed us he was sending money order. By this time I had called credit card company and charges were reversed. We still have not been informed of who from the first used our credit card and sent this order. Each person I've talked to over the last almost 2 months since this began has said they'd put a "trace" on it, found out and let us know. Nothing has come of resolving of what we feel is fraud and abuse. If they have done this to me how many more people are they damaging? This company should be investigated not only by you but also the Attorney General.Desired Settlement: They need to be thoroughly investigated further for fraud and fraudulent practices. Awareness should go out to consumers about unethical practices of this company.
