Harvest Moon Retrievers Reviews (11)

I need them to ask for the refund and allow me to sell their spot Once I can sell their spot, I will refund them their deposit It is all clearly laid out in the agreement they have signed, I have a breeding coming up in a couple months and will take deposits if I can on that litter If they release me from the agreement I will sell their spot If you need a copy of the signed agreement I can also provide that for you I will do what ever it takes to make it correct for them I only have a litter a year, and if that is not successful, I re attempt This is all clearly laid out on my site and in the agreement they have signed I am sorry and do my best to correct it

We have a signed Puppy deposit from from this potential customer The Puppy deposit form states no refunds and we move your deposit to the next litter/attempt We are not a back yard breeder and as such only have a a litter or two a year This client recently put a deposit down on a litter, and that litter did not take, we offered to refund the deposit, after we sold their deposit position without issue This seems to not be good enough, even though it is outside our typical policy They are determined to slander us, even when we have agreed to refund the deposit once their position is sold, this will only cause harm to us and our ability to move their position and refund their deposit I have attached the deposit form we use, and have their singed agreement in hand if you require that They should be looking in the news paper for an immediate dog, rather than work with any breeder trying to do better for the breed Honestly it is better they do not get one of my dogs This is a recent attempt on the litter that did not take we will be re-breeding them in a couple months but this was not good enough to stop the demands and slanderIt clearly states our policy and the size of our kennel and the number of litters we have all over our web page We have satisfied customers all over the country They are just using bully tactics, slander and defamation to try and achieve their wishesWhen in fact their actions may hurt our ability to get their refund to them sooner

Like I have stated they have signed our document regarding deposits, I have stated I will go outside the document and give them their deposit back, however we have to meet half way and allow me to sell their spot in the next litter. They knew the risk, they signed the agreement, and by creating a false narrative, they make it harder to sell their spot in the breeding program. I have one litter a year at best, as outlined in my program and on the web site, sometimes it takes some time. It is the best I can offer at this time. Why would someone sign the agreement, discuss our program, review my web site, and expect something other than what was agreed to?

I am rejecting this response because:
We researched and ultimately chose Harvest Moon Retrievers for the exact reasons stated on the websiteFamily run and only a few litters a year with the end result being a high quality, sound, family English Labrador retriever. When our family placed our deposit in April for the breeding of Loretta (f) and Granite (m), we were informed we were the first family to do soWhen this breeding did not "take', we were never informedI had to initiate the conversation and inquire about the status of Loretta and whether or not she was pregnantLoretta was bred again in the spring of to Scout(m)Again, the previous complaint (to the Revdex.com) stated their deposit was placed in the spring of Why would that not be our refund? If we were the first to place a deposit on the original pairing would we not be the first to receive a refund? This pairing of Loretta and Scout was also unsuccessfulHow many deposits were taken for this pairing? As posted on the breeders facebook page now, a new female (Bella) and Scout either have been or are to be bred this the fall (Sept/Oct)How many deposits were taken for this pairing? As stated on the contract "If the pairing is not successful, your deposit will be moved to a future pairing of similar or better quality"It does not state how many future pairings just a future pairingDo we wait for the fourth breeding if this third time is unsuccessful? Do we wait for the fifth or sixth pairing etc.? There is an expectation as a buyer that the breeder is indeed capable of breeding dogs and delivering what was stated in the contract. Should this third pairing be successful, if the business owner won't respond to my inquiries, am I to expect he will inform me when my spot has been sold and my refund is being e-transferred?*** ***

I am rejecting this response because:
I have given this company every opportunity to make this right for the past couple months and they continue to lead us along with promises and deflectionsThere is no slander or defamation - only facts I was offered a refund in writing back in February (without the need to sell my spot) and they need to make good on that offer I am tired of being dragged along

I am rejecting this response because:Send me the agreement. I didn't get a copy of anything at the Game Fair in August 2015. I received an electronic invoice acknowledging the receipt of a $250 deposit for a puppy to be delivered in the Spring of 2016.   I have been pursuing this with Harvest Moon every since Harvest Moon was not able to deliver on its commitment (puppy in the Spring of 2016) and have been getting the same response (there is a pending breeding that is coming up that may result in returning my deposit) for two years. In your previous response you stated you have a litter per year. Since two years have passed why wouldn't I have received my deposit back? How many people are in front of me to get their deposit refunded? What is your best estimate on when I would get my deposit back? Why not send me my deposit given it is the right thing to do since it has been two years?

This potential customer signed our puppy deposit form, which states no refund. I have a copy of this form they do as well.  I will sell their spot and refund them their money.  I only have at max one litter a year, they are aware of this, and signed the forms and presented me with the...

deposit. Like I said once their spot fills, I will refund in full.  I do not understand people, they read they sign and then when everything doesn't go their way they defame and use the internet to badmouth and slander.  Which in turn it just makes it harder to sell their spot.  If you need copies of their signed documents I will be happy to provide them.  Everything I have mention on this response is also outlined on our web site. We work very hard to have our litters, and it is very expensive with testing etc. We try very hard to make it right.

The response is the same as there is a binding signed agreement with each and every customer. Why would the response be different if the agreement that is the same with every situation.  If you want a copy of the signed agreement client I have them on file.  It clearly outlines the process, and if they would like their deposit back, they can ask for that, and then in turn I have to sell their spot. It is simply and I will work with anyone to this end.   Again I apologize for any hardship this may have caused, I can only state that a full refund will be given to the customer once their pick and pick type is sold.
