I had the solar panels installed in my home on January 11 and thought that all proper paperwork with the city/state agencies was completed. I am now in the process of selling my home and just found out that the permit with the city is still outstanding and has never been signed off on. This was supposed to happen when the solar panels were originally installed and the company dropped the ball on this. This is now holding up the process of getting a closing date on my sale of my home, and I have called the solar company several times. They had someone out to my home last week and took photos, and I thought that it was already submitted only to find out today that they need to come back to put stickers on before they can submit it. If I don't keep calling them, they don't seem to be proactive about getting this permit done in a timely manner, and I have a deadline that I need to meet for my closing. I am very disappointed to have found this out 2 years later and now it's like starting over again.
