Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my dispute Please enter your reason(s) for rejecting the business response below Regards,Our son was the tenant BUT we paid all expenses for the apartment (look at bank drafts for rent, utilities etc).The property manager is not being truthful in stating that documentation was sent concerning issues with the apartment WE NEVER RECEIVED ANY PHOTOS OR OTHER DOCUMENTATION.This is obviously a "he said-they said" situation since we did not take any photos of the apartment's condition when we moved our son in The property manager might consider asking [redacted] (the rental agent) about the apartment.To be honest, we, being in the position of property owners, landlord, property manager, and tenant over the years, have NEVER had an issue with a management company until now We really regret that we did not document the problems but the property manager sent someone out to pick up the trash and clean the bathroom (we did the rest as stated before).Our son now has a beautiful new apartment with an awesome property manager It is obvious that this property management company has no interest in doing the "right thing" for us We have given the property manager numerous chances to respond to our concerns to no avail A phone call would be a waste of our time We will pursue our other options

Please enter your reason(s) for rejecting the business response below.Harvest Rock was not truthful in their response We had no indication that anything was amiss as far as receiving the security deposit back UNTIL almost months later when we received a note and the refund check We never received photos OR the condition sheet from move in --As stated in our complaint letter, our son, Luke, was told to "just turn in the key on his way out".--He received no "checklist" as to what was required.--Apartment was filthy when he moved in as annotated on his move in sheet We also called twice to have a leak fixed, garbage removed and the bathroom cleaned We regret that we have no pictures to show but we did not think it would be a problem since Luke talked to management The apartment was NOT professionally cleaned before he moved in The apartment was very clean when he moved out--MUCH CLEANER than before he moved in Again, we did not take pictures since we knew there would be no problem.--We did not install the shower head so allowed $for the mx person to install it.--Luke never touched the smoke detector (why in the world would he remove the batteries????) so obviously they were not installed before he moved in.We are extremely disappointed in Harvest Rock and the fact that they were not truthful in their response Since we never took pictures it is our word against theirs

MESSAGE FROM BUSINESS: Below is our final business response regarding complaint ID #***: “The tenant’s lease ended on May 31st, The deposit refund was sent out on June 30th, in accordance with the lease We received a complaint from the tenant’s mother on July 4th, and responded with an email on July 8th at 10:a.m., which included pictures of the property upon move-out as well as the lease and original Inventory and Condition form, which made no indication about the cleanliness of the property upon move-in The tenant’s mother responded to that email to that email on July 8th at 10:a.m. Should the tenant have any further questions about his deposit return or any other issues, he can contact our company It should also be noted that we have no written agreement with the mother of the tenant, who is the person filing the complaint.” *** ***
