I never spoke with Ms***My service manager, *** ***, returned her callThe morning he called her, 11.17.2014, was the first business day following the day we serviced her equipmentI was in the middle of a number of tasks, ***, the office manager, asked *** *** to make the
callMrD'*** tried to explain the charges and our price book*** *** said that Ms*** expressed anger and hostility about the cost of the serviceMr*** explained to her that it is recommended, by the manufacturer, to clean and inspect this system yearly and if it were cleaned, this would not have happenedThe property in question is * *** *** Trail, apartment #*, ***The last time we serviced her rental was 12/Our book pricing for the repair is $This includes taking turning the system off disconnecting the flame sensor, cleaning the flame sensor with a very light pad cleaner, reinstalling it and checking for proper operation, minutesThis is done after there was a determination that the flame sensor was the problemThe service call is $plus $for me repair, minus a $coupon sub totaling $plus tax totaling $Our GPS system has the technician's vehicle at her home for a total of minutesThe Service call is for determining what the problem is.I was not privy to hear the conversation between her and *** *** but customers love Mr*** and he is very fair, honest works very hard to serve our customers wellWe receive compliments every week about Mr***.Below is from *** our office manager.I could hear *** ***'s 1/of the conversation when he called Ms***Mr*** voice remained calm, polite and steadyHis sentences were often interrupted or cut short as if he were in the middle of a sentenceNever once was his manner or tone disrespectfulThe conversation ended while he was in mid word, I got the impression she hung up on himAfter the service call was scheduled, Ms*** asked if she could use any of the special offers from our websiteI agreed to accept the $coupon which reduced her overall bill after the service was completed to $including taxI also agreed to accept the $off coupon for a furnace cleaning that she was to be scheduled at a later dateGoing through her old records, I found that at the time of the original install she received and signed copies of the install agreement and warranty summary both indicating that the labor portion of the warranty was contingent upon having the equipment serviced once a year by Advanced, as per manufacturer's specifications, at our regular ratesOur regular rate is currently $*** ***Office ManagerI am definitely willing to accept the $from Ms*** for the service callI do, very respectfully, ask that she not contact Advanced Heating in the future, for her heating or cooling needsThank you, *** *** President
