Mr [redacted] did purchase a Chevrolet Impala SS from usWe obtained financing for him, and he was happy.He came in about a month or so later and commented that he believed that he had an oil leakHis vehicle was taken to our service department and it was inspected for leaksOur inspection did not find any leaks We gave him an oil change and asked him to drive the vehicle while checking to see if any leaks were left when he parkedHe agreed and that was all that I had heard from Mr [redacted] It had been at least another month when I received a phone call from his motherShe stated that they had taken their vehicle to a shop and they said that it needed an engineI asked her to bring in the vehicle so that we could re inspect itShe agreedOnce we inspected the vehicle, I was informed by my technician that they do not need an engine but they do need to have the heads redoneI explained to her that we don't have a machine shop, so we would have to send it out to get that part of the repair done She was happy at the fact that they did not need an engine , and that a bill of over $that was quoted to them by the other shop would not be in their futureI asked her for a couple of days while I shopped the machine shop service for her and she agreedI was able to get a price for her of $which is our cost not including laborIn an effort to help her further I was not going to charge her any labor She asked for a day to get back to me, I agreedWhen she did get back to me, she wanted to split the billI explained that the $was covering machine shop service bill, gaskets , and partsI also explained that I was not going to charge her laborShe wasn't happy with that responseI am still willing to help her out Thank you, Jesus GRomanGeneral Manager

I am rejecting this response because: The car is a lemon, it has engine issues and has had engine issues from day one, less than a week after my son bought it we were paying for oil changes we kept calling and taking the car in and they would not help us AFTER I have the car examined by a reliable mechanics shop and was told the car needed a new engine then they want to finally have they're mechanics take a look at his and now they want to its not the engine and want me to pay for something that for one shouldn't not have been sold and for two this is what his mechanics say is wrong, of course its the cheaper route they didn't think we were smart enough to take the car to have it examined some where else, they assumed that we would keep riding the engine like they kept telling us to do and blow the engine then it would be our faultSo again I pass on this crummy offer toTHIS IS BAD BUSINESS AND NEVER AGAIN WILL I BUY THERE OR RECOMMEND ANYONE TO BUY FROM THEM!!!
