April 5, 2017Revdex.com1010 E. Missouri AvenuePhoenix, Arizona 85014-4585RE: ID [redacted]Thank you for giving the [redacted]’s an outlet to vent their frustration.  It has been Orangewood RV Centers intentions from day 1 to resolve this matter as quickly as possible however there has...

certainly been some unforeseen and unfortunate challenges in what appeared to be a simple manufacturing defect.  When the [redacted]’s particular RV was built it was done so in such a manner that prevented the table from properly stowing to make into a bed as stated by the customer.  This was due to the dinette booth assemblies two halves being mounted approximately 1/2” too far apart and causing a gap larger than the table could satisfy.  It was requested by the RV manufacturer that Orangewood RV Center order a new table in the appropriate size.  Mr. [redacted] was made aware of the direction we were heading and felt it was a reasonable solution.  Unfortunately, after several weeks the table that was built arrived and was not the size we requested so we contacted the manufacturer and advised of the issue and asked how they wanted to proceed.  Per the RV manufacturers request we ordered another table to match our specific measurements.  Unfortunately the second table that was made also came in the wrong size.  We reached out to Mr. [redacted]’s and made him aware of the situation as well as reached out to the manufacture for the third time.  During this time and out of shear frustration with the situation Mr. [redacted]’s contacted the Revdex.com in hopes of expeditiously resolving the matter that we were already diligently trying to resolve.  The unforeseen delays and unfortunate frustration is not a reflection of Orangewood RV Centers efforts or attempt to resolve the situation for our valued customer; instead it is a result of the manufacturing not being able to provide the correct size table in a timely manner. We have since contacted Mr. [redacted]s directly and suggested we abandon any further attempts to obtain the correct size table and advised we would like to make a slight modification to the dinette booth assembly to make up the difference of the gap in lieu of attempting to order yet another table if that would be to his liking.  Mr. [redacted]s was satisfied with the proposed modification as well as our choice of materials and advised he will be in for the repair after his next trip.We sincerely apologize for any frustration this may have caused the [redacted]’s and we look forward to this matter being resolved at the customer’s earliest convenience.  Brad O[redacted]Operations ManagerOrangewood RV Center

consumers attempt to misuse this resource. Rather, they use it as an extortion attempt, to reputable businesses, in hopes that a business will meet their demands in an effort to spare their reputation, regardless of the claims legitimacy and how unreasonable the consumer’s demands may be.Orangewood RV Center has been in business for over 20 years and has built a reputation of excellence in the community. We find this complaint preposterous and offensive and it is a fine example of a consumer’s attempt to extort from a small locally owned and operated business.  In reviewing Mr. [redacted] complaint he expresses his frustration in attempting to locate a repair center, Quality Mobile RV, in Midlothian, Texas.  After conducting research it appears that Mr. [redacted] selected a repair center with the assistance of the RV (recreational vehicle) manufacturer.  Mr. [redacted] continued to explain his dissatisfaction with the timeline of his repairs by Quality Mobile RV, stating specifically, “It sat at Quality Mobile RV from June 27 for 5 weeks awaiting an OK”.  Furthermore, Mr. [redacted] stated that he “finally got the ok and replaced the cooling unit” and after that repair was complete that he found the refrigerator “was not secured in the compartment”.  While we find this entire scenario unfortunate, it is not reasonable to hold Orangewood RV Center responsible for the workmanship of service repairs rendered by Quality Mobile RV.  Orangewood RV Center does not conduct business in the state of Texas, nor do we have affiliation with ANY RV business in Texas.  Mr. [redacted], and solely Mr. [redacted], selected Quality Mobile RV to provide service to his RV. Mr. [redacted] had the opportunity to research the service center to verify their quality of service, as well as their reputation. Unfortunately, it appears that Mr. [redacted] made a poor decision in a RV service repair business. At no point was Mr. [redacted] directed to conduct business with Quality Mobile RV by anyone at Orangewood RV Center.   Mr. [redacted] returned to Arizona and he brought his RV to Orangewood RV Center for additional repairs, which included securing the refrigerator properly.  All of the repairs requested and authorized by Mr. [redacted] were completed as promised, within the agreed upon timeline, with the exception of the refrigerator repair.  Orangewood RV Center experienced delays in securing the refrigerator to the cabinet due to the fact that Quality Mobile RV, the Texas repair facility selected by Mr. [redacted]e for prior repairs, damaged his refrigerator and caused the mounting brackets to be compromised and no longer structurally sound. Orangewood RV Center made multiple attempts to contact Quality Mobile RV to discuss the installation error and damage, but unfortunately, our calls were unanswered and we never received a return telephone call.  Mr. [redacted] advised us that he would get in contact with Quality Mobile RV to discuss the repair issue; however, he advised us that he was unsuccessful in making contact with Quality Mobile RV.  Mr. [redacted] frustration was intensifying and he made reference that Orangewood RV Center should just complete the repair to his RV. Mr. [redacted] also advised us that he will not be paying for the repair and that he felt that Orangewood RV Center should take care of the cost of the repairs in the interest of “good customer relations”. Unfortunately, as Mr. [redacted] was previously advised, without his authorization to start repairs and agree to the financial responsibility, the job will remain on hold.  It is the policy of Orangewood RV Center that we obtain authorization from the customer prior to starting any repair. As previously stated, Orangewood RV takes pride in customer service, so we continued to contact Quality Mobile RV without success. We advised Mr. [redacted] of our continued inability to make contact with Quality Mobile RV and explained that he may want to explore other options to repair his RV.  During the lapse in repair time, Mr. [redacted] felt that he was entitled to demand that Orangewood RV Center complete the repairs for him at no charge. Orangewood RV Center explained that it is not our responsibility to make the repairs at no charge because we are not at fault for improperly installing the refrigerator.Soon after, Mr. [redacted] made the decision to contact the Revdex.com and file a complaint against Orangewood RV Center. In analyzing Mr. [redacted] Revdex.com complaint letter, his entire logic for being frustrated with Orangewood RV Center is because “I paid a fair price for this trailer”, “I just want someone to step up to the plate and get this fixed” and “They could make the repair in their shop”.  While we concur that Mr. [redacted] paid a fair price for his RV but Orangewood RV Center is not responsible for the negligence of repairs performed by Quality Mobile RV and under no circumstance should Orangewood RV Center be financially responsible for Mr. [redacted] repairs.  Based on Mr. [redacted] illogical thinking that anyone who paid a fair price for an RV should be able to get items damaged by others fixed for free is completely unreasonable. Orangewood RV Center is unaware of any business that operates under that premise or any that are still in business. It is the position of Orangewood RV Center that Mr. [redacted] complaint is warranted, but is misdirected at Orangewood RV Center. It is Mr. [redacted] responsibility to make contact with Quality Mobile RV to discuss and request that the negligent refrigerator workmanship repair is fixed properly or request financial compensation. Taking into consideration the recent dealings with Mr. [redacted], Orangewood RV Center feels that Mr. [redacted] is not being  reasonable, is lacking logic, and sound judgment in his decision making process.  Mr. [redacted] is strictly using emotion to determine his course of action and his claim to the Revdex.com is unsubstantiated.  In closing, I would like to inform you that I had a meeting with Mr. [redacted] in person that he advised me that his complaint to the Revdex.com regarding Orangewood RV Center is not warranted.  He also advised me that he will be in contact with the Revdex.com and request that his complaint is NOT published. If you need any additional information regarding Mr. [redacted] Revdex.com complaint, feel free to contact me. Thank you for your time and review of this Revdex.com response.RegardsBrad O[redacted]

Extortion: I have been called lots of things in my life but never an extortionist.  Yes, in a letter to Orangewood RV management on 12-1-16 I indicated that I was weary of delays in the repair of my 2016 Montana 5th wheel and would resort to social media.  It not only had to do with a refrigerator that malfunctioned on vacation but many other delays in the warranted repairs. Example: Living room slide was not working properly for most of the summer.  On our return to AZ we took the RV to Orangewood and showed them the slide was crooked and broken.  They agreed, Sounds easy to get fixed? 2 weeks later I was still waiting for an OK from Keystone to get repair done. (All of this is documented.)As you can see although the refrigerator repair was addressed in the rambling letter to the Revdex.com there are so many other items that were repaired but not after long delays. My coach was in a shops for a total of 16 weeks for the 1st full year after purchase in Feb 2016.I do admit that the job done in Texas by a dealer recommended by Keystone and was not done properly but after leaving the facility and heading out to resume our vacation we didn't notice this for several weeks.  What were we to do? Return to Texas or AZ?I could go on but as it stands now all of the many repairs have been done to my satisfaction and the trailer is now back in our possession.
