Calling to chase them down to pick up my trash as they haven't picked it up on time each week.
Each week since *** recycling of Fitchburg has taken over for mallet trash (the company I was originally with) have not picked up my trash on my designated pick up day. Resulting in me having to call each week to complain about my trash not being picked up. Each week our trash was picked up the following day of my actual pick up day. Minus one week that it was picked up on time yet the trash man tossed our recycling bins across the driveway and left the trash bin at the end of the driveway and half in the main road preventing any cars from getting in my driveway without moving it all first.

I have called each week to complain since November 2019 when they took over for mallet trash. Each week I was told it was an issue that they would handle and they apologized. But they never did handle it. This past week our day was changed from Monday December 30th 2019 to Tuesday December 31st 2019 but I was told they would pick up on both Monday and Tuesday for this switch. I was guaranteed by a supervisor our trash would be picked up on Monday December 30th but also advised to leave the trash out for 24 hours and to call back if not picked up. I watched the trash truck drive by my house on Monday December 30th and he never came back to pick it up I also called to report this to the company. I also watched him drive by my house on Tuesday December 31st and he again did not pick up our trash. I called to speak with a supervisor about this and was put on hold for a bit and then I was advised the supervisor was not in but he would call me back. After an hour I called back to speak with a supervisor and was told he was still not there. So I decided to cancel my service with ***. The customer service agent then advised me that if I cancel today they will not pick my trash up today and to leave their bin out on sat for them to pick up. I advised I paid for service through the end of December 2019 and asked why they wouldn't pick up since I was paid up. She then didn't answer that question and instead advised that the reason they did not pick up my trash on Tuesday December 31st (the day of this call) was because my trash was not outside And they have video evidence showing this. I then advised that my trash has been outside since the previous day Monday December 30th so that was a lie. She then stated that the video showed our trash was not close enough to the curb for pick up. I advised it was left in the exact spot it has always been left and they have picked it up from that spot each week although picked up late and I was never advised previous to this call that my trash even had to be in a certain area other than at the end of the driveway where I have been leaving it. She then advised that she would contact the supervisor to see what she could do about possibly getting my trash picked up. I asked so are you threatening that if I cancel my service you won't pick up my trash today that I have paid for services for? She advised that she was not threatening and that she would see what a supervisor could do for me. I asked to have a supervisor call me back. Have not heard back at this time.

Desired Outcome

Since I have had to call each week on both mondays and tuesdays about my trash not being picked up and have been stressed out having to deal with their company and threatened to not have services fulfilled that I have paid for, I would like my last month refunded.

I spoke with Mrs. K at the end of December. She expressed her concern about trash not being picked up. Research shows that she indeed had not been. Her trash had not been placed within 3ft of the curb and our driver took photo of this. However, in my opinion, should have emptied her trash this time and contacted Mrs. K for future pickups that the bin will need to be at the curb. Mrs. K had already informed me that she intended to end service with us regardless of the outcome of our discussion. I stated, I would create an order to pickup her trash by end of the week before the final removal of her bin on Sat. I could not guarantee that we would be able to have a truck come back but told her I would try.
She stated she would still cancel service, I understood and let her know she was welcome to come back if she ever had a change of heart. I ended her billing as of 12/31/19 so that her balance with us for her short stay was $0.00.
We wish Mrs, K well.

I am requesting a refund of my last month with the company. As I had to work hard on chasing them down to pick up my trash each and every week. I was never informed of the fact the trash needed to be 3ft from the curb until the last phone call I had with the supervisor who has replied to this complaint. I was informed that everything would stay the same as it was before Harvey trash took over for mallet trash. So I left my trash exactly where I had always left it for mallet trash. No one from Harvey trash informed me of the new requirement of 3ft from the curb. This supervisor also agreed that I should have been informed and apologized for no one explaining this to me on any of the other phone calls I made throughout the past month asking why my trash was not picked up. Also for the simply fact I was threatened with them not fulfilling my last pick up if I cancel. (They did end up picking up my trash after 6 days of me having to leave it outside for the last pick up)To which this supervisor said he would speak to the agent who said this and apologized. They did not fulfill our agreement in which they would pick up my trash on Monday's of each week and I had to wait 1 and sometimes 2 days past my pick up day before they came to get my trash. Forcing me to leave my trash outside for multiple days. That is not what I agreed to paid for. So I am requesting a refund.
