Review: Purchased a Speed Queen washer & dryer from this business.($ 1465.90 ) They delivered me a defective

washer. How do I know this, first of all the machine showed signs of repair. I called the business many times

and only got an answer machine. Finally, I contacted my credit card payer to stop payment, and only then did the business respond. They stated they ordered the parts for repair. How did they know what parts are needed, No

one looked at the machine. I paid for a new machine, not one under repair. The owner of the store , via a telephone

said he will replace the defective machine with a new one in two weeks. Personally, I don't believe or trust him. Why

two weeks, why not in one or two days. My age is 77 years old. I noticed this business doesn't seem to have an email addy, very strange. Speed Queen (manufacturer) not helpful. They encourage us to buy American SpeedQueen, and they sell there products through rip off dealers, like Harvey's . Please help in this matter, ThanksDesired Settlement: Want a new washer or refund of the amount paid. We bought these machines in good faith. We disposed of

the previous machines ( both working ) and now my wife has to make a trip to the laundry to wash our clothes.

I don't trust the owner of this business to keep his promise. I believe he doesn't have an honest bone in his body

In response to Mr. [redacted] inaccurate statements, here’s what really occurred. When our delivery men installed the washer they called me and said a plastic end cap was cracked, I called Mr. [redacted] he didn’t answer but I left a message that I ordered the part and I will be there to put it on. A week later he called me and said where is my new machine. Regardless of more inaccurate statements we replaced the washer on December 27. 2013
